Bonus Chapter: Cookie

Jooyeon woke up later than usual because he and Jungsu had stayed up all night. Normally, Jooyeon would have woken up a bit earlier to prepare breakfast, but today he just sighed and mumbled, "Curse you, Jungsu." He made his way to the bathroom to start his morning routine.

In the cozy kitchen, Jungsu and their adorable daughter Jungyeon were busy whipping up a batch of delicious cookies to surprise their beloved family member, Jooyeon. As the sweet aroma of the baking cookies filled the room, the timer finally went off, signaling that the cookies were perfectly done. With a smile on their faces, Jungsu, wearing oven mitts, carefully removed the hot tray of cookies from the oven, ready to delight Jooyeon with their homemade treats.

"Daddy, when will Papa wake up?" asked four-year-old Jungyeon, getting impatient that her other father was taking too long to wake up. Jungsu laughed lightly at his daughter.

"It seems like Papa had a good sleep since he isn't awake yet, but don't worry, he might come down later," Jungsu replied.

"I really wanted to show off our cookies to him. Besides, he won't resist the chocolate chip with sprinkles." Jungyeon expressed her desire to impress him by showcasing their cookies, confident that he wouldn't be able to resist the temptation of the chocolate chip cookies adorned with colorful sprinkles.

"While we're waiting for Papa to show up, then why don't we clean first before he nags at us for keeping his kitchen dirty?" Jungsu said, and they agreed and began cleaning the kitchen together.

After a few moments, Jooyeon descended the stairs and was greeted by the heartwarming sight of his husband and daughter, their clothes and faces adorned with flour. The playful mess brought a smile to his face as he took in the scene before him.

"Good morning, you two," Jooyeon greeted, shocking Jungsu and Jungyeon at his presence since they hadn't finished cleaning yet.

"Good morning, Papa! Look, Daddy Su and I made cookies for you." Jungyeon approached her other father and hugged him, and Jooyeon hugged his daughter as well.

"Oh, great! You did a great job, baby," Jooyeon proudly replied while ruffling Jungyeon's hair, causing the child to giggle.

Upon tasting the cookies, Jooyeon found them to be overly sweet and slightly too crunchy for his taste, yet he still expressed gratitude for the effort put into making them by his spouse and daughter.

"Did you like the cookies?" Jungyeon asked.

"I love it, baby," Jooyeon replied, making Jungyeon smile happily and jump.

"Sorry for making your kitchen a bit messy," Jungsu said.

"It's okay, besides, you guys look cute with flour everywhere," Jooyeon replied fondly.

Jungsu offered to accompany Yeonnie to the bathroom for a quick clean-up, to which Jooyeon simply nodded in agreement. After Jungsu and Jungyeon finished tidying up, they made their way to the cozy living room, where Jooyeon was waiting for them. They indulged in the delicious cookies that had been baked earlier, chatting and laughing together as they enjoyed each other's company.

"Daddy and Papa, when will I have a sibling?" Jungyeon innocently asked.

Jooyeon's face turned red, and he sputtered on his drink, caught off guard by the unexpected question that had just been thrown his way. He coughed and spluttered, trying to compose himself as he struggled to find the right words to respond. The embarrassment of the situation only made his cheeks burn brighter as he fumbled for a suitable reply.

"We don't know. Do you feel lonely? Are you ready to be an older sibling? Because if the baby is born, you might feel a little jealous that our attention will be diverted to you, and we don't want you to feel that."

"But I have been wishing for the past four years that I wanted a sibling. I'm ready to be an older sister, and I can take care of the baby too," Jungyeon said.

Jungsu whispered in his seductive tone, agreeing with her statement, "She's right, when will we have another little Jungsu or Jooyeon?"

Jooyeon felt his cheeks burn with embarrassment as his husband's comments caused his blush to deepen even further. "You kept me awake all night, and now I can hardly even walk properly!" he murmured to Jungsu, who simply smirked in response.

"Well, you were such a good boy to me last night," Jungsu teased Jooyeon even more.

"You're literally out of your mind last night. We're not doing this again with our kid around," Jooyeon replied, and Jungsu laughed at his reaction.

However, Jungsu reiterated his promise to Jooyeon with a sincere tone, assuring Jooyeon, "You remember my promise to you that if you're not ready, then I'm always willing to wait." Jooyeon gazed at his husband with admiration, grateful for his understanding and patience.

"I'm so lucky to have you as my partner. Your presence in my life means the world to me, and I am truly grateful for everything you bring to our relationship," Jooyeon replied.

"I'm more lucky that you gave me a second chance, and I won't take this for granted," Jungsu replied, kissing Jooyeon on the lips this time.

Jungyeon was taken aback when she saw her parents sharing a kiss, prompting her to playfully exclaim, "Gross!" However, her parents only chuckled at her reaction. Her father, Jungsu, then playfully picked her up and began tickling her, causing Jungyeon to burst into fits of laughter.

"Daddy, stop it! " Jungyeon chuckled. After tickling their daughter, they kissed her cheeks and said, "We love you so much, Yeonnie." "I love you too, Daddy and Papa!" Jungyeon replied and hugged her parents.

A/N: a little background of this au hehe so basically i wrote this alongside with my friend in 2020 with a different fandom and ship and basically the au wasn't finished so after 4 years i picked this up again and wrote the second half of this au. hopefully everyone gets to enjoy this as much as i enjoyed writing this. thank you for the kudos and someone reading this i appreciate you all!
