I watched as the man, Jeon Jungkook, approached me. The Vampire Mafia lord is both striking and intimidating. He has an ethereal, almost otherworldly beauty and flawless pale skin that seems to glow under the dim light of the park. Jet black hair is styled perfectly, framing his sharp, angular features.

Eyes piercing, a shade of crimson seems to see through everything and everyone. The tailored black suit accentuates his lean muscular frame. Luxurious details, silk fabric. I am no where to be compared to this creatures. There's no doubt that I feel my stomach sink and anxiety under his presence.

His stare. I still couldn't figure what are his intentions for me. He says that he wants me, says he cares for me, then why can I not see it? Why fear is the first thing that comes in my mind?

"Y/N, stop being stubborn, you have no place to live. Come with me I'll take care of you" His tone commanding, but a trace of worry in them.

"I-I can't " I said with all my courage. "There's nothing I could offer to you, and living with you, letting you take care of my expenses seems like burdening you" I pleaded.

"Your safety and well-being are my priority, Y/N. You don't need to worry about the cost and expenses. Just come" He said it plainly with an expression less face.

"But if it would make you feel better, you could help me with some tasks around the place. Cooking, cleaning, whatever you're comfortable with. Your presence alone is already a gift to me" Jungkook added.

My eyes lit up by the offer, did I finally found a stable job? "Thank you so much" I smile came on my lips. "I'll do anything I can for you, I'll give my best. " I bow down. "Can I work outside as well? " As I cannot live with this man forever, I needed to be independent.

"You want to work? But why, Y/N? You're under my protection now. Your place is by my side, not toiling away for someone else. I'll take care of everything you need. You don't have to lift a finger for anyone else but me" authoritative tone send a chilling shiver down my spine. I nodded in obedience.

But I felt relaxed by the thought that now I have a home. A place to rest in, no more wandering on the streets in cold nights. "I'll get my belongings, it's under that bench" After getting a nod from Jungkook I went to get my bag.

For a bit I took my last breaths as a free woman and looked back at the Mafia, he stood with armed people dressed in black as his guards. I started walking getting closer. "Allow me" Jungkook says as he takes the bag from me and hands it to one of the guards.

With a winning smile on his face he led me towards his car, and gestures the driver to leave. I watched the car in disbelief as I've never imagined that one day I'll be riding in something like this. "Which car is this? " Came out of my mouth out of nowhere.

Jungkook opens the car door for me, a small smile playing on his lips. " This is one of my cars Y/N, a mclaren . I have a few like this. Consider it another perk of being with me. You'll always travel in style from now on " He said after noticing my astonished face. My hands touching the dashboard then on the seat, feeling the luxury, as the other sat on the driving seat.

I wore the seat belt as the drive started.
