KARINA
Today was the last day of campaigning, Tahimik lamang akong nakaupo sa upuan habang hinihintay si Yeji, she promised to arrive earlier than usual today dahil alam niyang wala pa akong ibang kasama. I waited for a few minutes and finally someone arrived, but it wasn't Yeji, it was Winter!
"Winter!" I said and stood up running towards her. "Good morning, Sabi ni Yeji ibigay ko raw sayo ito. It's a food." Winter said and gave me the bag containing foods and drinks. "Nasan pala siya?" I asked her and she looked back. "May inasikaso lang siya sa faculty, inutusan siya ni Ms. Camu." Winter replied and I answered with a nod.
We both sat on the chair, I offered her a food and she accepted it, I then started eating too. "Nervous?" She asked me and I started getting nervous, hindi naman talaga eh, but when she asked me bigla nalang din akong kinabahan.
"Well... Yeah, I heard magaling daw sa campaign yung kalaban eh." I replied but she just smiled at me. "You'll win this, alam ko." She said and gave me a wink causing me to smile.
After a few minutes of waiting, Yeji finally arrived and she's already with Ryujin. "Winter, pumunta ka na sa class mo, kami na bahala kay Karina. Thank you ah!" Yeji said and Winter smiled and nodded before she stood up taking her things.
"Goodluck." She whispered to me before walking towards her classroom. I smiled and finally felt a little less nervous with what she said. Agad na rin kaming pumunta sa court kung nasan ang iba pang runners for the elections.
WINTER
"Hi! boto mo kami, Giselle for secretary then Ningning for president." Someone stopped me as I was walking to class. I looked at the flyers she was handing me before I looked up to look at her. "No, thanks." I replied and started walking again but she stopped me.
"Hello? Alam mo sa dami ng binigyan ko ikaw lang hindi tumanggap." The girl named Giselle said. "And? You can't force me to take the flyer if I don't want to." I responded and she frowned. "Oh? Maybe you're one of Karina's friends no?" Giselle asked.
I frowned, "Fine, I'll take it." I said and took the flyers from her hand, kinuha ko lang, I have no plans on voting for them since my votes are already secured for Karina only, I mean... For Karina and the others she was running with.
"Thanks po!" Giselle said and smiled at me. I started walking until I arrived at my classroom. There are a dew students there already and they're reviewing for the upcoming tests later. Good thing I was prepared for this.

"Tangina nasan na ba yon si Ryujin? Ang init init pinaghihintay ako rito!" Naiinis na tanong ko sa sarili ko habang patuloy parin ang pagbaling ng ulo sa kalsada. Nakasimangot na ako habang naghahanap at naghihintay when finally, I saw her walking towards me.
I was about to scold her not until I realized she was with her girlfriend, Yeji, and Karina. I stood infront of Karina and smiled at her. "Hellooo! Sorry ang tagal namin ah? Naiinis ka na ba? Okay lang yan." Ryujin said and rolled my eyes off her.
"Saan ba tayo ngayon?" I asked. "Celebrate!" Yeji said. "We feel kasi na mananalo tayo so why not do an early celebration diba?" Yeji said and I nodded. "But wouldn't that jinx it?" I asked. "Ikaw ang makakajinx kapag hindi ka nanahimik. Halika na!" Ryujin said.
We're at a restaurant and we just finished with eating our foods. "Ice cream naman?" Yeji asked. "Yes please! I've been craving, kagabi pa!" Karina answered and I looked at her. "Dapat sinabi mo sakin." I answered out of nowhere, what was that even supposed to mean?
"Ha??" Ryujin asked and I looked at her, "Sus! Gaganyanin mo pa si Karina eh kapag may naga-ask naman sayo tinatanggihan mo or hindi mo pinapansin." Ryujin said to me and I scoffed. "That's a lie! People changes." I replied, Yeji and Karina laughed as Ryujin and I's playful banter continues.
As the time passes by, Yeji and Ryujin had to bid their goodbyes now before they go back home. "Ikaw na mag-hatid kay Karina ah? Ingat kayo!" Ryujin said and I waved goodbye to them while Karina does the same.
"Let's go." I said and we started walking and out of nowhere, she wrapped her arm around my arm as we walked back home. I wanted to stop and just feel this moment, I couldn't understand what was going on but I smiled and just continued walking along with her while she clungs to my arm.
"Time really flies by when you're having fun." She said. I just listened because it felt like she had more to say. "I wish everyday was just like this... Ayoko munang umuwi." She said and I looked at her as we both stopped walking.
"We can stay here for as long as you want." I said and she smiled. "I hope I could but my parents would look for me and ask for my whereabouts." She replied I scoffed. "Just for fifteen minutes, sabihin mo nalang na it's we walked home." I said and pulled her towards the bench.
We both say down as we looked at the scenery, a flower field and not too far from the place was the ocean, Karina took a deep sigh and inhaled the fresh air as she smiled. "I love this feeling... I love this place already." She said and looked at me I replied with a smile and stayed there quietly.
We just looked and rested, we did nothing but to appreciate the beauty of the place, we did nothing but to feel each others presence. And as we stay, we both didn't realize that it was already almost midnight. "Let's go?" I said and she nodded clinging close to me again as we finally walks back home to our own houses.
I agree, I wish everyday could be just like today.
