Gerard shuts the door behind them and sits Frank down on the bed. Frank is scared. He's afraid he's done something wrong and Gerard wasn't actually going to clean him up, but kill him. Frank chews on his lip ring and his eyes dart around the room, making sure he had a way to get out if Gerard made to hurt him. There was the door. Easy enough, unless he had locked it without Frank's noticing. Bathroom? Maybe... Unless it locked from the outside or not at all. Either way, he would be trapped there and would have to come out sometime. There were no windows. The door was his best bet.
"Frank. Look at me." He tenses and turns his gaze to the taller man. Gerard is standing by the door to the bathroom. His foot is tapping impatiently against the floor and he beckons Frank over. Frank hesitates. Gerard's previously relaxed face darkens. He pushes off the door frame and strides over to Frank, emitting a very angry feeling. Frank cringes. He's breaking all of Gerard's rules and he knows that he's in for it.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Frank." He growls, forcing Frank to look at him. Frank is shaking. How can he trust him? He doesn't. He can't trust him. Frank shakes his head and scrambles back across the bed, to the other side. Gerard sighs and grabs Frank's ankle gently, tugging on it.
"Frank, you can trust me. I won't hurt you." Frank shakes his head again, backing up until he's against the wall the bed is against. Now he's done it, he's almost cornered. Gerard quickly comes to sit next to Frank. Frank moves to run for the door, but Gerard pushes him on his stomach and pins him to the bed, holding his arms behind his back.
"Frank. I said you can trust me." Frank does nothing. He's too afraid to do anything but shake and wait for Gerard to hit him. Gerard's knees is pressed against his middle back, his breath is hitting the back of Frank's neck. Frank closes his eyes. He can tell it's only a matter of time until Gerard snaps and gets pissed again.
"Frank. If you don't let me get you cleaned up, you're not leaving this room." There it is. The hostility that had, until a few minutes ago, been there from the start was back. Frank isn't up for getting hit, though, so he finally nods.
"Then if I let you up, you won't run for the door?" Frank will. He absolutely will. That had been his plan from the start. He shakes his head, no. "Alright." He releases Frank's arms and brings his foot off of Frank's back.
In no time Frank is halfway out the door and Gerard is after him, chasing him down hallways and through doors. Frank is hastily hoping he'll confuse Gerard and not himself. Though he knows it's futile, that he'll most likely end up getting caught and killed before he gets out, that doesn't stop him from running up as many steps as he can. He knows he went down at least four flights, so as long as he goes up that many, getting out should be a bit simpler.
He stops dead as he bursts through a door and into sunlight. The air of New Jersey fills his lungs and he keeps running until he's out of the alley. Just as his feet his the sidewalk, a hand is on his shoulder. He makes to turn back around, but he's being dragged back into the alley, back into the door and down the stairs again. Gerard is laughing in his ear.
"Oh, Frankie. Now you're really going to pay."
