Gerard bit his lip as hard as he could, almost drawing blood. He knew that he hadn't been in his right mind. As soon as he had become coherent enough in the future, he had locked himself away, thinking of as many ways to pray to God that he didn't go to hell, or purgatory, because they both knew he loved his family. Gerard had been able to soon move on from it. Then the Bert incident had happened and it had hardly come to his mind until recently, when he remembered it with Frank. Speaking of Frank.

Frank watched carefully as Mikey pulled his gun out of its holster, as well as the taser, and cast them to the floor, kicking them away. He held his hands up and took a few cautious steps toward Gerard. Gerard seemed to snap back into reality, because he whipped out his own gun, the safety off-which was out of character because as long as Frank had known him, he had only seen him take off the safety once. Gerard aimed it at Mikey's head. He looked on the verge of tears, but his hand was steady. That was what scared Frank.

"No! Stay away from me, Michael James Way!" He half-screamed half-ordered. Mikey stopped and smiled. Frank stepped back a bit, his feet shuffling a bit. Gerard's hand reached down to grab Frank's pulling Frank behind him. Frank held onto the waist of Gerard's shirt. He felt like a small child sometimes, around Gerard.

"Who was that, Gerard? Frank Iero? The boy that everyone's looking for? Why do you have him, Gerard? You kidnapped him, I suppose?" Gerard nodded in response to all of his questions.

"Yes, I kidnapped him. But he himself said he didn't want to leave, that he preferred being with me." Gerard barked, his hand reaching back to lace his fingers through Frank's. Mikey smiled, which concerned Gerard.

"Well, I'm glad you've found someone, but Frank needs to come with me, Gerard." He said softly, stepping forward. Gerard cocked the gun. He wasn't kidding. Mikey knew that, but Mikey didn't care.

"No. He's not leaving, not without me." Gerard thought of letting Mikey take Frank anywhere. The thought was a bad one to think, but he saw himself, miserable and crying. That settled it. Almost... "Frank..." He mumbled, too quiet for anyone but Frank to hear. Frank coughed in reply. "Would you go with him if I let you?" Frank squeezed Gerard's hand. That settled it. "He's not leaving without me and he doesn't want to leave. Why would you take him in the first place?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. Mikey shrugged.

"To get his voice back." Mikey stated. Gerard and Frank each sucked in a breath. "There's a surgery, Gerard. His chances of living are almost 100%. On the offchance that he does die... You have access to all the files of the addresses of the families and homes of all the police personnel." He said, tilting his chin slightly. Gerard weighed his options.

Let Frank go, Frank dies. Let Frank go, Frank comes back with a voice. Don't let Frank go, Frank stays mute and stays with Gerard for the remained of Gerard's life. Don't let Frank go, Frank can't call to Gerard for help when he's hurt and can't move. Gerard bit his lip. He'd need to ask Frank. For now, though, he turned to Mikey.

"I'll get back to you on this." He coughs. "Give me a week to think about this with Frankie. But you have to promise me two things." Gerard said, stepping forward so there were only two feet between them with Frank peeking out from behind Gerard. "You give Frank back to me after this dumb surgery. You can ask him whatever questions you want, but if he chooses not to answer a question, you let. It. Be. The second one is that you comply to my rules." He said, stressing the words 'back' and 'my'. "And if he doesn't make it," He flinches almost physically. "If he doesn't make it, you better shoot yourself in the head, my brother or not. Because it's less painful than what I would do to you, little brother." Mikey smiled and nodded.

"Alright. You can call me on my cell." He said, holding out a slip of white paper. Gerard nodded, taking it-careful not to touch Mikey-and waited for Mikey to turn around-hands still above his head-before wrapping an arm around Frank's shoulders, planting a gentle kiss to the top of Frank's head.

"Love you." He mumbled into Frank's hair. Frank immediately nuzzled his face against Gerard's shoulder, the only place he could reach at his height. Gerard couldn't have asked for a better person.
