A/N: The prologue is pretty boring so please just get through this because I promise you it gets better
Thousands of years ago a war was fought between the three kingdoms. To stop this war they placed the wall separating the two kingdoms on the main continent and all the citizens on the west continent fled back to their lands.
The people of the separate kingdoms grew to forget that the others ever existed, thinking that they were all there was in this world. Except for the rulers, they passed down the knowledge and information on the war throughout all their generations. They were fearful of what the citizens would do if they were told such knowledge. Would they fight the royal families? They didn't know and they chose not to risk it.
The Kingdom of Krilya on the west continent kept magic to themselves and using their ancient art they used their magic to open portals to the other continents using it as punishment. The citizens all feared such punishment. No one had ever been seen coming back so they assumed that they all died. Only those who committed treason would be sent to such deaths. But many who were innocent or wrongly accused were also sent to these other kingdoms because the royal family feared their potential.
Magic was banned from the other kingdoms and the people sent there who wield it would be sent to dungeons and would be heavily controlled. The other kingdoms never knew where they came from and they weren't able to stop it.
Over time Krilya sent more and more people to their deaths out of fear for their potential. The other Kingdoms made several names for them such as the magical folk.
To contain this species of people they made special chains to suppress their powers. These cuffs dulled their life force until they were mere ordinary people. The kingdoms found great strength in this and would contain their powers under lock and key.
Many of the magic folk were killed, some where observed kept for their usefulness and some were simply placed in dungeons and camps to eventually die.
