Yu Gi Oh Legends

Chapter eight

A young boy was sitting at his desk at night, organizing his cards. All of a sudden, he slumped over, and fell asleep. In front of him was a bright Pendulum, swinging side to side.

"Yessss....... Let the Pendulum take over........"

"Wow, do you think those Pendulum creeps are going to be taking us out one by one?" Zao asked.

"I don't know what to think, Zao. I guess all we can do now is get those Pendulum cards, and try not to get our souls lost in the shadow realm," Kai said.

"That's scary!" Lexi exclaimed. She snuggled closer to Zao, and buried her nose in his shoulder.

Zao smiled, and wrapped his arm around her. "I guess you're right, Kai. Did Payton say when she would be able to come back to school?" He asked.

Kai shrugged. "Whenever she regains her strength, I guess," He said.

"Ummm......... Hey......" A Voice said.

They all turned to look at a little boy. "Would you 4 be able to help me with something? It's important, actually," He said.

Zao nodded. "Sure! We can help you!" He said.

The boy smiled. "Thanks. The name's Chris, by the way. "I need help finding a bully that took my duel disk." He looked at Kai, Sarah, and Lexi. "Could you guys search the school for him? He has jet black hair, and blue eyes. He's in the 8th grade."

"Sure! Come on guys!" Kai shouted over his shoulder.

"Don't you call me a 'guy'!" Lexi angrily shouted.

Chris looked at Zao. "And I need your help searching what I think might be their base," He said.

Zao stood up. "Let's go."

"Do you think that kid was referring to Sebastian?" Lexi asked.

"Sebastian's in the 7th grade, but he looks like an 8th grader. It's a possibility," Sarah replied.

"Well, let's just keep looking," Kai said.

"Where are we supposed to meet the guy when we find the bully?" Lexi asked.

Kai shrugged. "I guess we just wait for him here," He said.

After a while, the bell rang for school to be over.

"Well, guess we didn't find him. Let's go try to find Chris now," Sarah said.

"Did you find him?" Chris asked.

"Nope. Sorry," Kai said.

"It's okay. Follow me, if you will."

They walked towards an abandoned warehouse. Chris pushed open the doors. Zao was lying on the ground, unconscious.

"Zao!" Lexi yelled. She ran over to him. "Zao, wake up!" She pleaded.

"What did you do to him?" Kai asked angrily.

Chris smirked. "Beat him at a shadow game. That's all." He pointed at Lexi. "And you'll be my next opponent!"

"No, I will." Bryce stepped into the warehouse. A young girl was following him.

"Ah, Bryce! It's so nice to see you," Chris said. He looked at the girl. "Payton, you're here too? Well, looks like I have all of you right where I want you!"

"Bryce! Payton! How did you find us?" Sarah asked.

"I followed you guys here. I knew that this punk was up to no good. I brought Payton here as well for backup," Bryce replied. He looked at Lexi. "You take care of Zao," He said.
