                                  Next day
                        Los Angeles, California.

Yuri's POV:
I put my dress on the bed  and went into the bathroom and turned the shower on.

While the water heated up, I took off my dress and tossed them into the hamper. I stepped into the bath tub, allowing the hot water to soak my hair as it covered my body. After I finished bathing, I wrapped a towel around myself, shivering a bit as I stepped out of the bathtub. I grabbed a hairbrush, keeping the towel around myself, and detangled my hair before applying some hair serums and left my hair open to let it air dry while on my way to the airport.
I put on some body lotion before wiping off the mirror from all the fog and took a sigh, looking at my reflection.

My hands had become cold by now but my face still felt flaming hot, so I put my hands to my cheeks and then to my neck and suddenly my eyes got caught on the pendant around my neck. Tears formed while I traced it with the finger without realising. I shook and snapped out of my thoughts and reached around to the clasp to take it off but
as I grabbed the hook, I just couldn't bring myself to take it off.

I sighed in frustration, dropping my hands to the counter and lowered my head.
"Whatever, don't think too much, it's just a necklace." I told myself, after lifting my head and glancing at the necklace one more time.

"Close your eyes," he demanded, pushing me slightly in the chair.

I whined, covering my eyes with my palms.
"Why Ash? What is your problem?"

"You're the problem, Pearlie!"

I ignored him and crossed my legs one on another, remaining seated in the chair. When I heard no sound, I thought he had left me and decided to take a peek.

"Don't you dare peek. Hold on, I'm taking it out," he scolded.

"Taking out what?"

"A gift for you," he mumbled while I heard shuffling.

"It's not my birthday today" I snickered. "1st October, you idiot."

"I know your birthday, princess. It is for a different thing."

"Is it something you ordered?"

"No. It's something they didn't have in stock so I had to wait for it."

"You could have gotten me something else."

"Open your eyes."

I pulled my hands away and saw him holding out a little black bag, dangling it infront of me like a candy. I tried reaching for the bag but he yanked it back, watching me in amusement. "Fine! I'm going home, Ash."

He held my hand and made me sit again, "here." He dropped the bag in my palms and then took his chair beside me.
I glared at him as he gave me a little smirk.

"You can check me out later, now open the gift."

I rolled my eyes at his stupid comment and dug into the bag, pulling out a black box. I froze at my seat, blinking numerous times, I flipped the bag over not believing my eyes. "Harry Winston? Fucking Harry Winston?! Are you in your right state of mind? Did you make your parents spend so much money on—"

"I bought it on my own."

I looked at him, eyes wide. "Hmm?"

"I bought it from the money I got after working in my dad's office for those few months."
