Yuri's POV:
After several hours of trying on dresses, we finally managed to narrow down the options to just three. It had been a long and tiring process, but I finally had some dresses that stood out to me. The first dress was a beautiful A-line gown with lace detailing, the second was a sleek, mermaid-style dress with a sweetheart neckline, and the third was a romantic ball gown with a tulle skirt.
I let out a sigh of relief as we finally finished selected dresses. It felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
"That's it," I told him. "We've finally made our selections. Three dresses that we really like. Thanks for being so patient and staying with me throughout this whole process."
He chuckled, looking relieved himself. "I must admit, I was starting to lose hope that we'd ever make a decision. But I'm glad you found three dresses you really like." He paused for a moment, a teasing smile on his face. "And I only had to endure a few hours of dress shopping without going insane."
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his comment, but deep down, I appreciated his patience.
"Alright, alright," I said, smiling at him.
"You should change and try your suits on. All the changing rooms for the ladies are full, I have to wait anyway," I shrugged. He gave my dresses to an employee and asked her to hold onto them for me. "Do you want to come?" he asked. "You can judge each suit."
"Tempting but no. I don't want to go in there. I'll wait out here," I chuckled.
"Then I'll come out here and show you," he replied and then went into the changing rooms before I could say anything.
I bit down on a smile and sat down on the couch, waiting for him to come out wearing the first suit.
He came about a minute later with the bow tie loose around his neck instead of tied. I watched him in amusement as he glanced at himself in the big mirror on the main wall and then turned to me. "What do you think?"
"I think you still don't know how to tie a tie or a bow tie," I laughed.
"Well, you could always just tie it for me."
I stood up and stood beside him, glancing at him in the mirror. "I know you can't tie the best ties but you remember the steps. Someone will fix it for you. Hopefully," I shrugged.
"You can. Whenever, wherever."
I met his eyes in the mirror, "Oh..." I said in amusement, "because you'll bring me around just to fix your ties?"
He nodded. "Because you'll always be there," he mumbled, glancing at the tie, attempting to tie it.
"Are you sure I will?"
"Obviously, where else are you going to go? You're with me for life, Pearlie," he smirked.
"Sure, I am," I chuckled.
Just like this, he tried on the next suit and the next and we decided that he looked the best in the first one, so he asked the employee to take it to the counter for him and he'd pay for it in a while.
By then, one of the changing rooms had opened up for me, so I went there. Before I could though, Matt came out after finalizing his suit and called my name. "Yeah?" I asked.
"Is there a rule? Can the groom not see the wedding dress or something? I heard someone say that."
I paused, "No? I mean, from what I know, the groom can't see the bride twenty-four hours before the wedding. But as far as I remember, Kat told me that Uncle Johnny saw aunt Rosa's wedding dress when she bought it," I shrugged. "Why? You want to see her?" I grinned teasingly.
