Chapter 19

He got to the door before stopping when he saw Jungkook standing there.

Both of them looked at each other in shock.

"What are you doing here?"

"You really were leaving."

"You knew?"

"I had a vision." Jungkook said. "I saw you leaving from here and I thought to keep an eye on you to see if you would really leave."

Taehyung looked down. "I have to go, Jungkook."

"I know I don't have a right to say this because I'm not in your situation but as someone who didn't grow up with parents, please don't leave Joonwoo behind. He needs both you and King Seokjin, you may feel like you're not important but you are. Joonwoo needs you both. So please don't leave him behind." Jungkook bowed his head.

"Jungkook-ah, what are you saying?" Taehyung asked and the omega looked at him. "I'm coming back. I'm not going to leave Joonwoo behind. At first that was the original plan, but after seeing him and spending time with him, I can't leave my pup behind. So don't worry."

Jungkook tilted his head. "Then where are you going?"

"I need to go to Nawon to find out some answers."

"I'm coming with you."

"You can't."

"I have to because I'm King Taehyung's bodyguard so I must go."

Taehyung stared at the omega before sighing, he knew there was no talking Jungkook out of this. And honestly, having someone with him made him feel less scared.

"I knew you two were up to something?" Hoseok said, as he and Jimin came into view. "When Jungkook snuck out of the bed, I had a feeling it had something to do with King Taehyung." Hoseok said.

"What are you two doing here?" Jimin asked.

"I need to go to Nawon, I need answers and I won't get them here. Going to Nawon is the only way I'll remember something."

"But do you have to leave like this? Can you at least tell King Seokjin?" Hoseok asked.

"No, because you all know he won't let me go alone. I need to do this on my own. I believe our memories were tampered with, that's why we can't remember anything. There's only one person I know who can do that and I need to go see him."

"I will go with you guys." Jimin said. "Going to Nawon knowing Prince Sanghoon is there doesn't make me feel good. You'll need an extra set of hands just in case."

Hoseok sighed deeply. "I'll watch over Joonwoo and I'll cover for you guys. You three have exactly twenty-four hours. If you aren't back by then I'll have no choice but to tell the alphas if they ask."

"Don't worry, I know Nawon like the back of my hand, we'll be back before you know it."

"Let's take my motorbike." They went to the garage and Jungkook attached a sidecar to his motorcycle. Jungkook gave Jimin and Taehyung helmets and Jimin climbed into the sidecar. Hoseok gave Jungkook his helmet and kissed Jungkook.

"You three be careful and if you sense any kind of trouble, abort the mission and return immediately."

"I promise we'll be safe." Taehyung said as he held onto Jungkook who took off.

Hoseok sighed deeply, watching as the sun slowly started to rise. "I pray you come back with answers. I know you two love each other, so please find a way to mend both your hearts."

Myeong and Chinmae arrived at the Nawon Palace. The butler led them to the backyard where Minsun and Sanghoon were waiting for them. They walked into the gazebo and sat down. Staff members served them refreshments and snacks as Myeong handed Minsun a wrapped package.
