The doors opened to the ceremony hall and they walked down the aisle. Seokjin was shocked to see how many came to the wedding. In a way it did make sense, he was the first prince of this generation to marry and to someone who wasn't a noble or royalty. He was sure many were curious. His eyes met Queen Dambi's making his blood ran cold, he assumed that Gwangbaek wouldn't show up because of the broken engagement with their crowned prince. So why was she here? Did she harbor no ill will? If he knew anything about the Alpha Queen, it was that she never made decisions without reason.

He then saw the King and Queen of Nawon along with Prince Sanghoon. A part of him had hoped the arrogant prince wouldn't come but knowing how big this event was, there wasn't anyway he wouldn't. Seokjin just hoped they didn't have to exchange many words. The Alpha Prince always made him uncomfortable.

Royal Advisor Manshik walked up to the podium as the live orchestra began playing. The beautiful sounds of the blended instruments filled the room. A white shimmery carpet is rolled out and a few maids sprinkled white rose petals onto the carpet. The doors opened and all eyes fell on the omega.

Taehyung knew he was supposed to walk to Seokjin, they had rehearsed this over and over. Time and time again. His head up and chest out and he was supposed to walk with pride that he was going to be a king today. But he was stuck in his spot, so many pairs of eyes watching him, mixed opinions plastered on their faces. Judgment, Contempt, Jealousy, Admiration, Warmth. Fear crept inside of him. Why was he doing this again? As an outsider of Junyo did he really have the right to be here and marry the prince? Was it too late to back out of this now? Before he fully lost all his courage, he saw Seokjin standing in front of him, holding out his arm.

"It's alright, we'll do this together." He whispered. The alpha's eyes were so gentle and warm, the room filled with people, now forgotten as their eyes only saw one another. He wrapped his arm around the alpha's and they walked down the aisle. Small whispers bounced around the room as they made their way to the Royal Advisor. The music came to a stop and Manshik spoke.

"The rulers are to fulfill a multifaceted role. Symbolizing the nation both domestically and internationally, they act as its ceremonial head of state. Holding executive authority, the rulers wield power to enforce laws, appoint government officials, and manage state affairs. Additionally, they serve as the supreme commander of the armed forces, ensuring the defense and security of their nation. In matters of diplomacy, the rulers play a pivotal role, representing the nation in international relations, negotiating treaties and fostering diplomatic ties with other nations. Central to their duties is the safeguarding of the nation's interest and the well-being of its people, promoting stability, prosperity and the rule of law."

"Drinking red wine from the holy cup is a promise to execute the duties that are expected of you. However since the new omega king is expecting we have prepared specially made grape juice."

Taehyung watched as the Royal Advisor placed a box that was in well kept condition on the podium before opening it. He pulled out a large gold cup that had seven colorful gems on it and poured the juice in it.

Seokjin was the first to take a sip from the cup before handing the cup to Taehyung. The omega took the cup and sipped the juice. It was sweet and refreshing, he was tempted to drink it all but sadly handed it back to the Royal Advisor.

"Seokjin-nim, please turn to V-nim and repeat after me."

Seokjin turned to Taehyung, their eyes met and stayed locked on one another as the alpha spoke. " Before you, surrounded by our loved ones, I vow to fulfill my duties as both king and husband. With unwavering commitment, I promise to protect, guide and trust you through all of our days. Together, we will make decisions for the well-being of our people, ensuring their safety, amplifying their voices and safeguarding their health. Hand in hand, we will unite and rule as one, dedicated to leading Junyo into a future of prosperity and abundance."
