Chapter-1-in another life.

"Trash!"

'Why?'

"Kill that traitor!"

'All i did was love you to the best of my abilities, so why?'

"You should go die!"

'I wish-'

"How unsightly."

'I saved everyone. I help them defeat the white star! Why?'

The clouds were grey and rain was pouring, as this is the day when Cale henituse, the eldest of the Henituse county, once one of the heroes but now an ex-hero, the 'traitor', was to be executed.

People were shouting curses and throwing rocks at him as he was made to kneel in front of the whole empire.

"Cale!"

As the executor raised his axe, Cale's eyes went to the highest platform where the voice call out his name.

There he saw his beloved ex-fiancée and the hero, Kim rok soo. Kim rok soo was the one who called out to him as he was being held back by Choi Han and Alberu.

Kim rok soo, Cale was never really close to that person, although they were always together during the war and mostly fights side by side, they really weren't that close.

He is someone who was very strange. He is kind yet he can be cruel, he is warm yet he can be cold, he is strong yet he is very weak.

That relationship between them was nothing more than subordinates. But why was he the only one who had a worried and sad face.

As if he wanted to save him? As if he didn't stop his execution? As if he hasn't taken everything from him?

His family, his people, his ex-fiancee. Cale had loved Alberu since they were little. They were childhood sweethearts.

Yet they kept their relationship a secret since Cale didn't want to involve his family in the fight for the throne.

Later on, because of his reputation. But after Choi Han beat him up and the war started, Cale step up and supported them all the way.

Their relationship was made public and everything went well. Cale reunited with his family.

He earned a new family and new friends. Even children. One day, while Cale and Alberu was together in the office, with Alberu sleeping on Cale's lap.

While Alberu was sleeping, the wind blew and a book fell from Alberu's book shelf, Cale had never seen this book before so curiosity got the best of him and he decided to check it out.

He was careful to not wake Alberu up and went to read a book. It turn out to be a diary, Alberu's diary to be precise.

A diary about how much he loved Kim rok soo and he can't let go of Cale for his backing to the throne and comparing the two together.

How he had fallen for Kim rok soo the first time he had seen him and how he still needed Cale.

Cale started trembling as he read through the diary. But he quickly read through it and put it back to where it belong so Alberu wouldn't see him reading it, as he was starting to wake up.

When Alberu woke up he saw Cale in front of his bookshelf.

"Darling what are you doing way over there?" He asked as he sit up. Cale still had his back turned to him and didn't reply him.

"Darling?" Alberu called out to the silent Cale as he got more worried. "I have somewhere to be."

Cale hastily said as he left Alberu since he couldn't stand it anymore. The content of the diary was still fresh in his mind. Cale cried his heart out as he walk back home.
