Sana's POV

"Sana! Have you packed already?"

"Yes mom, just a sec!"

I finished packing yesterday afternoon, but I wanted to get some time to say goodbye to this place. My house. The place were I grew up. The place my mother and I couldn't wait to leave behind and forget.

I am Minatozaki Sana, 17 years old, blonde, average height, brown eyes and squirrel like face features, as I have been told. My mom, me and my dad have been living here forever until... something happened. Not a long time ago, my mom married a super rich guy she really loves and now, she decided that we should move in with him.

And here I am, leaving my entire life behind, my school, my friends, my girlfriend, Eunha and my best friend, Sowon, to stay with some rich dude I don't even know and his kids. If he has any, I'm not sure yet.

"Sana!"

"Coming mom!"

I grab my suitcase and take one last look at the place. My bed, my desk, my bookshelf, the view from my window and the closet... The closet...

I take a book from the bookshelf before I leave. Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen. At least I'll have something to do during the trip with the car.

------

"What are you reading?" my mom asks me as she drives. I lift the book slightly so she can take a look at the cover and read the title. I am so not in the mood to talk to her. She sighs.

"Honey, I can't see, I'm not wearing my glasses."

I reply with a shrug.

"Are you really not going to talk to me for the whole trip?"

I lower the book from my face. I look at her. She looks at me then back at the road but not before I show her my 'I think so' face.

"Sana, you should know better than this. You're not a child anymore! You're 17 for god's sake!"

"And I was forced to leave my entire life behind, Eunha, Sowon, everyone and go live with some stranger! Mom, this isn't easy!"

"First of all, he's not a stranger. He's my husband. And I know this isn't going to be easy. But you're going to make new friends! There's also his daughter, I'm sure she'll introduce you to her friends."

"How can I know I can trust her and her friends mom? I don't even know them!" I continued arguing. Okay, he has a daughter who's probably the same age as me or one to two years older. So what?

"His daughter is a very good kid and person. She is only two years older than you (told you so) and she is studying law. I'm sure her circle of friends will be just fine for you." she finished and removed her one hand from the steering wheel, placing it on top of my own.

"Don't worry Sana, you're gonna be just fine."

Yeah. Great. Everyone will think me and my mom are some sort of golddiggers, going after this guy's money. And the worst of all? I'll have to live up to the expectations of that girl, whoever she is, the perfect daughter. My life just got even more boring.

------

"Here we are. Now Sana remember: be nice. Please." my mom begged as she stopped the car in front of a huge, white mansion. I mean, how rich must this guy be?

"Okay, I'll try my best." I said and got out of the car with her. The moment we got out, I noticed five people waiting at the stairs. One of them was the guy, Yicheng, the rich businessman, two of them were old men in suits and the other two were maids.
