Sana's POV

"Hey, Sana, we should get going." Tzuyu said as she came in my room as soon as my mom left. She was wearing cargo jeans and a sleeveless shirt with a black leather jacket.

"Y-yeah." I said as I started searching for a tissue around my room to wipe my tears without ruining my light makeup.

"Here."

I turned around and saw Tzuyu holding out a tissue for me. I looked in her eyes and she did the same with a smile.

I thanked her and, after wiping my nose and eyes, grabbed my phone and went out of the room to Tzuyu.

"Let's go." I mumbled and we went outside to her McLaren. She opened the passenger's door for me and then settled at the driver's seat. The ride was silent. It was kind of awkward actually because I wanted to speak but I didn't know what to say and I just said things like 'the weather's good today' which was so desperate.

After a few minutes, we arrived at the place of the 'gathering'. This time it wasn't a house or some rich kid's masion. It looked like a racing track with bins positioned to represent the turns and a few stalls with food and drinks.

"Well, this is different." I said as Tzuyu and I got out of the car. She nodded.

"Yeah, not all our 'gatherings' are pool parties."

"But they all include you being chased by girls all around." I mumbled and pointed at the direction of three girls who were running towards Tzuyu. I recognized one of them to be the girl with bunny teeth I saw at the first party.

"Hold my hand."

I was flustered. "What!?"

Before I could do anything, she grabbed my hand and intertwined it with hers. The second she did that, the three girls stopped in their tracks. They didn't come closer, they just stood there, staring at us. The second Tzuyu did that, I had that feeling again. Like butterflies were flapping their wings inside my stomach, flying around.

"Don't you want to go to your girls?" I asked her ironically.

"I've told you, they're not my girls. I'll go to them, after we find Momo. I'm not leaving you on your own, they can wait." she replied without looking at me, searching for Momo and Dahyun. 'I'm not leaving you on your own, they can wait.' I feel like my heart skipped a beat when she said that. Not long after, we found Momo drinking and Dahyun just looking at her.

"Hey Dubu. What is she doing?" Tzuyu pointed at Momo who had already drank a whole bottle of what I later understood to be tequila.

"That's her second actually. She shared her first with me, which seems pretty weird but, don't worry, I won't let her go far." Dahyun assured us.

"Okay, I'm leaving Sana with you. If you take your eyes off of her, I'll take yours off of your head. Got it?" the brunette said, her face serious.

"I can take care of my own you know." I jumped in, only to earn a death stare from Tzuyu.

"Got it?" she turned to Dahyun again.

"Yeah, don't worry."

Then, she left.

"So..." I took a glass of a random drink from the stall "what is the purpose of today?"

"They're racing each other!" Momo said excitedly.

"What? Who?"

"The gang members! It's always been us or the whites who win and this time, Lisa has made a bet with Tzuyu!" she continued. I looked at the track with the bins and understood everything. I went closer to examine it and noticed that most of the turns were really easy, except for the sixth. For someone inexperienced, it would be very hard, but I knew how to get through it easily. My dad was a racecar driver after all and that's probably the only thing I ever liked about him.
