** Sapphire's POV **

All I feel is pain when I wake up. The bright lights make me wince, a hospital. Fantastic.

I feel the nurses touching me which sparks more pain.

"Get off! That fucking hurts!" I yell at them.

After a few more outbursts they all decide to leave me alone saying someone will be here soon to see me.

It's another hour before someone enters my room. I move my eyes from the wall to Damon who stands there with tears spilling down his face.

"Who died?" I asked him. He softly chuckles before rushing to my side.

"You almost did, Fire." He says before gently setting his hand on mine, making me wince.

"Jesus, how many bones did I break? Hey, push the call button for me." I say looking towards it since moving my head makes me want to scream.

"Almost half of them." He mutters while pushing the button.

"What do you need?" A nurse asks, looking scared.

"I won't yell anymore, get me pain meds." I say rolling my eyes only to wince.

"You yelled at them?"

"Yes! Everything hurts and they weren't being gentle." I scoff.

"I'm really glad you're okay." Damon mutters before gently kissing my forehead.

"Well dying in a car crash is kind of lame."

He laughs dryly before stepping back for the nurse to give me pain meds. My arms feel cold making me shiver, Day places a warm blanket on me and sits down smoothing my hair back.

"Thanks Dad." I mutter before medicine lulls me to sleep.

"I swear if they messed up any of my tattoos, I'll kill them." I grumble as Damon helps me stand up.

"I see you have your priorities straight." He says lifting me into the stupid wheelchair.

"When can I go home? This place makes me want to murder people." I whisper the last part as someone comes into the room.

"Later today I think."

"Do you need any help?" I look around Damon to see the newly turned Caroline.

"Hey! I was wondering when they would let you come in. Save me from Day please!" I pout making him roll his eyes.

"It would be my pleasure. I compelled them to let you leave now." She smiles coming behind me to push me out of the room.

"Right, I'll just be the bellman and grab all your shit." Damon says gathering my bag and crutches.

"Thanks Uncle Day! Let's roll!" I cheer as Caroline leads us out the front.

After a bit of a struggle I am seated in Damon's car with my bag and crutches in the back seat.

"Hey, steal the wheel chair too." I snort. Caroline pauses like she is really considering it. "Care, I was joking, get in." I roll my eyes, thanking the gods it doesn't hurt anymore.

"So what have I missed? Two weeks in the hospital is like a month in the supernatural world." I ask while Damon drives us home.

"Katherine is back, which you already know. The Lockwood's are werewolves and you might be too but because you haven't killed anyone you are still human like Tyler." Caroline rambles.
