I get a text from Caroline to come upstairs because her makeup skills suck right now and she needs my help.

"Thanks for helping me." I hear the annoying voice of Elena say as I open the door to the room her and Caroline are in.

"Don't thank me until you're sure your hair isn't gonna burn off." Her Aunt Jenna says.

I walk over to Caroline after waving to Jenna. 

"Thank god, I can't do this." She says pointing towards her face. I softly laugh and sit down to help her.

"I knew you'd look amazing in that dress. Maybe Tyler will finally ask you out." Caroline says, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Stop moving unless you want lopsided wings. Also I told you before, I don't do relationships. He's fine with that. We're using each other for our mutual benefit." I shrug, getting a harsh slap to my bare thigh.

"Hey! Listen here bitch, just cause we're friends now doesn't mean you can abuse me." I say in a joking manner, it's not like her slap hurt.

"That is so rude, Sapphire." She grumbles, unable to move due to the makeup brush close to her eyes.
