Kang Minho threw the glass of water that maid handed him a while ago.

"What were you thinking? Do you think it's a game where you can break engagement as you please?", Minho roared while y/n stood there unbothered. What's the worse that can happen anyways? He won't kill her just because she broke up with him.

"Honey calm down", Heejin hesitantly held his hand which he yanked away. She was the happiest by the news of their break up since now she can try to set up Eunha with Eunwoo.

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN? Look at this impudent, disrespectful girl. She is not even bothering to speak anything. Heejin warn her or I might do something", Minho charged towards y/n but was held back by Heejin.

"Honey, why don't you try to understand her?? We shouldn't force her for something she doesn't want. Just let her break up if she wants to", Heejin cupped his face trying to calm him down.

Y/n's jaw tightenned. Earlier she wanted to dump her trash on Eunha but after seeing her step-mother so happy, she changed her mind. Why should she leave them just like that? They deserve punishment for their sins. She can't let Eunwoo off the hook so easily. He should also face whatever she went through in her previous life.

"It's okay mom. I understand why dad is so angry. It's my fault. I am sorry dad", she looked down apologetically confusing the couple infront of her.

"It's just me and Eunwoo had a little argument that's why I made this hasty decision. I don't wanna break off this engagement, afterall we are fated together", Y/n gave a cold chilling smile and went back to her room.

Yes we are fated to make each other's life hell. Once you ruined my life, it's my turn this time.

In the evening, Eunwoo came over and they sorted out the dispute in which he apologized for his words and asked her out for a date to make up for his behaviour.

"Let's visit the annual fair together?", he asked tucking the hair behind her ear. She smiled warmly like she used to before shaking her head as no. It took him a little offgaurd since she used to get all excited for a date until a while ago.

"I have promised Jennie to visit with her", she looked apologetic. "So what? She can join us", he shrugged. "Well she clearly told me not to bring you with me or she will leave right away as she keep feeling leftout", y/n caressed his cheeks manipulating him.

One thing she learned from her step-mother is to get her man on his knees and obey her. Just like how she gently and seductively approach her father to convince him, y/n did the same with Eunwoo, who is of the same kind. The trick worked like magic as he agreed to let her go on her own.

Time skips to next day
Y/n's schedule was packed from the morning to evening as she took the interview of new employees applying for certain positions. She fired everyone from her gallery who turned their backs on her in the future. She also fired the people working under her father to finally start establishing her own authority in the gallery being sole director.

After shortlisting the candidates, she finally found the type of people she needed.

"Mr. Choi, do you think you can handle the tiresome job of handling all kind of affairs for me?", she asked.

"Yes I am confident", Yeonjun Smiled.

"Why do you think I should hire you?", she raised an eyebrow.

"I believe that the role of a secretary is an integral part of any office environment and that you need to be an all-rounder with the ability to multitask and adapt where necessary. I have a proven track record of planning and organisational skills and pride myself on my reliability and dedication to my work", he was confident throughout the interview.
