No One POV
The bus was still stuck in a traffic jam, Shizuka resting her head on her arms on the steering wheel, waiting on the traffic. Shido was standing in the back of the bus, talking as always. His bandages were still holding but they were stained in blood.
Shido: (strained) Exactly, that's why we should secure a safe place first. Then make moves together rather than making random moves on our own. *gestures* Isn't that why you voted a leader? Truly, we should wait until we're ready to act as a disciplined group to confirm the safety of our family members. *keeps talking*
Saya: *elbows Kohta* Hirano. Stop.
Kohta: *wakes up* (sleepy) Takagi. Morning. Is it time to get up already?
Saya: Yes, it's morning. Ugh. And you're drooling. (thoughts) God, I wish (y/n) was here.
Kohta: Oh. *wipes his mouth* Sorry. Look at that.
Kohta watched as people were walking down a sidewalk as police tried to keep everything under control.
Kohta: I think it's better to evacuate to the suburbs.
Saya: Cars are not the only way to get out of here.
Kohta: The airport on the ocean, you're right.
Saya: It's far too dangerous to be anywhere in the city. I bet a bunch of people are trying to escape to some island or some isolated area with some kind of strong military presence or something.
Kohta: Like Okanowa? But the American military that's stationed isn't there to fight....... *thinks for a second* Oh, but they're Self-Defense Forces.
Saya: If the military has appropriate measures, I'm betting Hokido or Gushue should be ok too. If planes are leaving then all the flights are heading to those areas.
Kohta: So you think maybe we should head that way too?
Saya: It's too late. The areas with heavy presence of Self-Defence Forces and American military may be managing to keep them under control, but I'm sure they've already started to adopt a stern policy toward letting anyone else in. No, sooner or later it's going to be that way everywhere in the world. I mean, what would you do in the same situation?
Kohta: I'd seclude myself.
Saya: What would happen if everyone in this world starts thinking that way? What if they start focusing on only keeping their community as small as possible in order to survive?
Kohta: *gulps* You really ask some very relevant questions, you know that?
Saya: What are you talking about, look at him. *points behind her to Shido*
Shido: *caressing a female student's face*
Saya: You can already see that in him. Although I doubt that he knows it himself. You know, this all happened overnight.
Kohta: *holding (y/n)'s Python* Should I interrupt them?
Saya: Forget the pervy teacher and slutty little Sally over there. I should consult with someone I can trust. I mean, Kumoro's here but, (y/n) would have been better.
Kohta: (bummed out) Yeah, you like (y/n), I know.
Saya: *blushes* Don't be ridiculous.
Saya then turned around and was met with Seako, Shizuka, and Takashi looking at her.
Saya: What?
Seako: I'm getting worried about (y/n) and the others. I hope they can hold on until we meet up.
