I slowly woke up after sleeping for 2 hours to see the Humvee driving over the river. I heard Kohta and Alice singing as I rubbed my eyes before cracking my neck. I looked down to see Rei and Seako asleep, cuddling me.
Shizuka: Wake up everyone, we'll get to the other side soon.
Rei woke up and sat up and looked at me with a small smile. I looked down and saw Seako still asleep on my leg and Rei laughed a little. We got to the other side and I didn't want to rudely wake Seako up so I just stayed put and listened to Saya.
Saya: That's weird, there's no one, living or dead.
Rei: (teasingly) That must be nice.
I looked down just as Seako was waking up, a little bit of drool on her chin and it was a little cute.
(y/n): Morning to you both.
Rei: Morning. You're drooling a little bit Seako.
Seako looked at Rei confused before blushing and wiping her chin before sitting up.
(y/n): We should probably get out so that you guys can get dressed.
All of us got out except for Koha and Alice.
Kohta: Hey Kumro, give me a hand, I'll let Alice down.
(y/n): *grabs Takashi's shoulder* Don't. Hey Rei, think you can take care of Alice, me and the guys will be up front so you guys can have some privacy.
Rei: *picks up Alice* Alright.
Me, Takashi, and Kohta, after he got out, walked up to the front.
The 2 were talking about Alice and I just zoned out, thinking. The highway battle is the next obstacle in our way now. I was leaning against the humvee when the girls started chatting about clothes.
Kohta: *places his hand on Takashi's left shoulder* Well Kumro, a man's got to do what a man's got to do-
I grabbed Kohta by the ear.
(y/n): You do that, they're probably going to throw you into a horde of the undead.
Takashi: (y/n)'s right, besides, I already told you that I don't want to die just yet.
The dog then barked at us.
Takashi: You're a spunky little guy aren't ya? *picks the dog up*
Kohta: But don't bark too much Zero.
Takashi: Zero?

(y/n): *chuckles* Naming a dog after the Mitsubishi Zero fighter plane.
Takashi: Oh yeah, small and fast just like this little guy.
Kohta: You're a war nerd (y/n)?
(y/n): War and history nerd, yeah.
Kohta then grabbed the shotgun, handed it to Takashi, and started explaining it as I started to zone out again. I'll have to bring out the big guns when it comes to the amount of zombies we face but that might not even be enough considering last night. There were more zombies there last night than there were normally in the show. First, I have to protect Rei and take the brunt of the force when the Humvee crashes. Then, all bets are off but, I'll probably have to split off with Seako.
