After the haldi games, it was finally time to apply the turmeric paste. Everyone was excited for this moment.
However, my eyes were searching for Advit. There was no doubt that I had started falling for him, but I also knew that after this wedding, we might never see each other again.
I was lost in these thoughts when he appeared.

His dark hazel brown eyes, brown watch, and the mist-flavored perfume all signaled his presence. Despite my growing feelings for him, I knew I couldn’t express them until I understood his feelings.

The haldi ceremony went smoothly. After a short rest, all the cousins were called to the basement area to practice for the sangeet night.
I was excited, but deep inside, I couldn’t resist the urge to talk to Advit. We hadn’t spoken since morning, as both of us had been busy.

When I reached the basement, I saw Advit talking to the choreographer. I greeted the choreographer, and once everyone arrived, we started practicing. We were paired up, and once again, I found myself with Advit.

I felt a mix of happiness, surprise, and lingering anger from the previous night. We began our dance practice, and then I heard a sweet voice apologizing. It was Advit. He was apologizing for what had happened the previous night.

I couldn’t hold back my feelings and said, “Isn’t it convenient to just say sorry after making a mistake? What’s the big deal, right? At most, you’ll just hurt someone’s emotions, Mr. Advit Tyagi.”

I was genuinely hurt, and he sensed it. He grabbed me by the waist, pulling me closer, and said, “Then tell me what I can do to make it up to you, Lil Dragon.”

Oh my god, my heart was pounding. This couldn’t be happening. He could probably hear my heartbeat. No, this couldn’t be real.

“Just be quiet. You don’t need to do anything for me. First, you act nice and then behave rudely,” I replied angrily.

“Okay, okay, no need to be so angry, Lil Dragon. Please forgive me. Too much anger isn’t good for your health. What if something happens to you?” he said, his words melting my anger like ice and making my heart skip a beat.
