After everything that happened, I was very confused about what was going on. I knew that after today, Advit and I would probably never meet again because it was the night of the wedding.

Tonight, my sister-in-law was finally coming to our house, and I was feeling a strange mix of sadness and relief. Sad because I wouldn't see Advit again, and relieved because I wouldn't hurt someone for whom I might have feelings..

Despite the emotional turmoil, I knew tonight was going to be beautiful. There were no functions scheduled for the morning, so everyone was resting in their rooms.

Suddenly, Avni Di called me.
"Where are you, Drishti?" she asked.

"I'm in my room, Di," I replied.

She told me to come to the roof room because everyone was playing games there. All the cousins had gathered to play truth and dare, but the one person I was searching for wasn't there.

"Where is Advit?" I asked Ishani quietly.

"Bhai is out for a business meeting. He will be back by the evening," she replied, then asked teasingly, "Why? Are you worried about him?... Bha... I mean dii"

It had been almost six hours since we last talked, and I hadn't seen him since. I was anxiously waiting for him to come back from his meeting.

But there was no chance he would leave his meeting just for me, right?

How could a 20-year-old guy handle a whole business? How could he be the king of his own empire?

These were the questions swirling in my mind, questions I desperately wanted answers to. I wanted to know everything about him, everything that made him who he was.

I joined the others on the roof, trying to keep my thoughts from drifting to Advit. The games were fun, but my heart wasn't in it. My mind kept wandering back to him and the unanswered questions that lingered.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed. It was a message from Advit: "Meet me on the Π terrace after the shadi is over."

My heart skipped a beat. I excused myself from the game, saying I needed some fresh air. As I went back to room to get ready for Shadi. My heart pounded with anticipation. What would I say to him? How would I act?
