I stood frozen, my heart pounding as I faced Advit-no, Agastya-again. The shock of his sudden reappearance paralyzed me, and my mind raced with fear and confusion.

"What do you want?" I managed to whisper, my voice trembling.

He smirked, a glint of determination in his eyes. "I told you, Lil Dragon, I can't live without you. You're mine."

"You're crazy," I spat back, trying to muster some courage. "You can't just come back into my life and expect everything to be the same."

He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming. "I never expected it to be easy. But I will make sure you understand. that we belong together."

I took a step back, desperate to maintain some distance. "You can't force me to stay with you. I have a life here, and I've moved on."

His expression softened slightly, but his resolve didn't waver. "I don't want to force you, but I won't let you go either. You need to understand that you're safer with me than without me."

The irony of his words almost made me laugh. "Safe? With a mafia kingpin? You're delusional."

"I can protect you, better than anyone else," he insisted. "And I'll prove it to you."

Just then, a black SUV pulled up behind him, and two men in suits stepped out. "Boss, everything's ready." one of them said, eyeing me warily.

"I'll give you some time to think," Advit said, turning back to me. "But remember, Lil Dragon, I'm always watching."

With that, he signaled to his men, and they got back into the SUV. The engine roared to life, and they sped off, leaving me standing there, shaken and bewildered.

I hurried home, my mind in turmoil. I couldn't believe he was back, and with such intensity. I needed to figure out what to do next. I couldn't let him control my life again.

At home, I locked the door and sank onto the couch, my thoughts racing. I needed to talk to someone, to make sense of everything.

I talked to mehek about this, the girl who knew everything from the start.

There was a pause, and then she spoke softly, "Come over. We need to figure this out together."

I agreed and hung up, feeling a slight sense of relief. At least I wasn't alone in this. But as I got ready to leave, a part of me couldn't shake the feeling that Advit's return was only the beginning of something much bigger this time.

As I made my way to mehek's house, I couldn't help but look over my shoulder, half expecting to see Advit watching me from the shadows. I knew this was just the start. and I needed to be prepared for whatever came next.
