"I will still love you, my Lil dragon.."

Standing alone in the common room, I reflected on his last words before he left.

I was thinking about everything that had happened to me.

But one thing troubled me more than anything else: he had lived his life without love.

If he didn't love me, he might never have revealed his truth to me. Maybe he wouldn't have come back at all.

Had I made a mistake by pushing him away? Should I have given him a chance to explain himself?

Wait, it's not too late.

I called Ishani.
"Ishani, where are you?" I asked. "Di, I'm at home," she replied and quickly asked, "But what's wrong? Why are you so worried?"

"Advit is leaving. Ishani. He's going far away from me and everyone else. I don't know where he's going, but he's leaving. I feel like I've made a huge mistake, Ishani," I replied, crying.

"No, Di, you haven't made a mistake. You can still fix everything. Bhaiya is leaving for Canada this evening to expand his business. He's already informed the family." Ishani explained.

"So what should I do, Ishani? Will he never come back? Is everything over?" I cried.

"No, Di, nothing is over. You are the only one who can stop him. He might not stay for anyone else, but he'll stay for you. You're the first person he's ever loved this much,"

Ishani reassured me.

"But what should I do, Ishani? How can I stop him? I don't even know where he is. How do I tell him to stay?" I asked, crying even harder.

"First, calm down, Di. I'll send you his flight details," she said and ended the call.

She sent me Advit's flight details, and I found out he was taking a flight to Canada at 6 PM.

I called Ishani again.

"Ishani, when is Advit leaving for the airport?" I asked.

"Bhai will leave by 3:30, Di. You need to hurry. It's already 2:00," she replied.

"I'm on my way. Try to stop him," I said and hung up.
I took a cab to his house, but due to traffic, I couldn't reach on time.

I arrived at 3:20 and saw Advit sitting in the car.

Maybe he thought I wouldn't come.

But how could I not come?

I'm here for you, Advit. Your Lil dragon can't live without you. She came here just for you.

Just look back one time, please...

Everyone had come outside to say goodbye. I saw Ishani, and she saw me too. "Di, go. He is leaving," she urged.

I smiled and said, "He won't go anywhere."

I called Advit.

He didn't pick up. I called again, and this time he answered. "Did my number appear as unknown, or why didn't you answer?" I asked.
It's not like that, Lil dragon. I just didn't want to make you cry by talking to you one

last time," he replied.

"But what if I say your Lil dragon is crying because you're leaving?" I asked. "But why? If I'm away from you, your problems will end, right?" he asked.

"No, stupid. You're not my problem. My

problem is you leaving," I replied.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"I'm hungry. I'm standing in front of your house, and when I'm hungry. I eat people," I said, laughing and crying at the same time.

He stopped the car, opened the gate, and looked back. He was surprised to see me.

"So, should I say I'm ready to become dinner for my Lil dragon?" he asked.

"Yes, stupid," I replied.

I ran towards him and kissed him as hard as I could, pressing my lips against his more firmly. Now I knew the answer.

"I can't live without you, idiot," I said.

"I told you before, my Lil dragon..." He replied laughing hardly....

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the city, he held me close, our silhouettes merging into one against the twilight. In that moment, we knew that despite the shadows of his past and the storms that might come, our love would be the light guiding us through the darkness.
