~Toby's POV~

I was sitting in my office editing a Literal Trailer. I've been in L.A. for five years... Amazing how time flys.

"Ruff!"

"Gryphon! Gryphon stop it!"

Gryphon wouldn't keep quiet. He kept barking and my phone went off. Was it Delanie calling me?!

"Hello!" I answered all excited, hoping to hear her voice again.

"Hey buddy let me in."

Jack's voice rang through my phone and I sighed. It was just Jack. I hung up and walked towards the door. My face was sagged and the corners of my mouth were turned down. Of course Delanie wouldn't call me. She's moved on.

"Heyy bud.. Toby what's wrong?" Jack had a look of concern in his eyes.

"Nothing Jack.. It's nothing."

"It's that Cooper girl again isn't it?"

"She has a name Jack! It's Delanie!" I snapped at him.

I felt bad after I did that. I didn't mean to snap. He shoved by me and sat down on my couch. I slammed the door and turned to face him.

"Michaela sent me a picture earlier."

He handed me his phone so I could see his sister.. With Delanie. She's grown taller. She's practically towering over Michaela. Her hair grew from her pixie cut too, now just brushing her shoulders. She also grew skinnier.

"This is Delanie right?"

"Yeah. Yeah it is."

"Why would you leave her?!" Jack practically yelled at me.

"I was stupid."

I was stupid, young, and never realized how much in love I was.

~Michaela's POV~

I was sitting in the living room of Me and Delanie's tiny apartment. It was 9:30 and she still wasn't back yet. I was getting nervous every minute that's went by.

Delanie finally came in around midnight. She was drunk.. Really drunk. Her eyes were red and her walk was sloppy. She was dragging her feet practically.

"Delanie! What the hell?!" I ran to her and she collapsed onto the floor around my feet. I put my arms under hers and dragged her to her bed.

Delanie hasn't gotten this drunk since the night Toby left for California. Oh no.. She was thinking about him again. Going through her depression stage like the doctor warned me about.

I got a wet wash cloth and put it on her forehead. She was cold and clammy. Oh boy Delanie. What the hell did you do to yourself this time?

I sat in the living room talking to my boyfriend, Michael, over the phone.

"Babe.. Delanie needs a therapist. Or needs to go see Toby or something."

"No. She doesn't need no therapist love. How would you feel if your first love and childhood friend left and never called you back?"

"I would be sad and get over it."

"Okay michael.. Okay. I gotta go." I hung up the phone and sat there. I was like Delanie's mother. But I was considering going to California. For Delanie's health and sanity.

~Delanie's POV~

I awoke with a headache so bad I thought my head was split open. Also my shirt was soaked to the bone. Oh shit.. I went out again. I sat up, the room spinning so badly I thought I was going to throw up.

"Miche!" My voice was sloppy and I couldn't even pronounce Micky.

Michaela came into my room with Advil and a glass of water. She had dark circles under her eyes.

"You wook wearable!"

"Shut up Delanie. Lay down."

She talked quietly and softly to help with my hangover. God.. I've been doing this for five years. And I felt like I couldn't even control it.
