The second day of workshop went pretty smoothly. We had two speakers, and they talked about some histories and categories of journalism. Just like yesterday, there were ice breakers and writing activities for us. They also instructed us to group ourselves into five for our activity tomorrow before heading home.
I remained on my seat while everyone's talking to each other to create a group. I was just waiting for someone to ask me to join their group who's lacking a member. I saw Ferrer talking to students from other schools, he's socializing well.
"Just what I thought.
"Buti kulang kayo ng isa, kumpleto na yata ibang groups," I sighed in relief. "Ano?"
The third day came, as usual, may isang speaker muna na magdidiscuss bago ang activity.
"What if there's this time traveler who helps people change their fate?"
"It's a bit common but we can make it unique. Example, that time traveler only helps people who are victims of something... like abuse in particular. Instead of changing the victim's fate directly, she will travel to the abuser's past so that he or she will be a good person in the future?"
"Oh that's cool, so the point of this story is changing the bad guys' past so they wouldn't be a person's antagonist in the future."
"What will be our protagonist's name? Let's go for something unique."
"Her name's unique, Tequila," Yeon pointed me.
I stifled a laugh. "If antagonist bagay 'yan."
In the end, they used my first name as the protagonist. It sounded weird, but we were under time pressure so I ended up saying 'yes'.
"Students, you can all have your snacks. You still have one and a half hour after the short break," the host announced.
Tapos na siya sa part niya in a span of thirty minutes!
