"Your hair looks pretty," Yeon said and touched the ends of my short hair. "It suits you."
"Talaga? Thanks! Ikaw din, pogi mo lalo," I said and scrunched my nose. "Suot ko pala 'to, yung bigay mo.
"Of course, glad you liked it."
We went outside to catch up with our friends.
"Yeah, as if I have a choice? Even if we our seated according to our heights, I'll end up sitting beside you at the back," he said.
"Tama, wala kang kawala sa akin," I stick out my tongue. "Pero kapag may reklamo ka sa ugali ko, o baka may actions ako na mali pala, i-call out mo ako, ah?" I said to Yeon before the class started.
"As if there's one," he shrugged.
The different student organizations of our school opened this first week of the academic year. They gave us the whole Friday to explore and find clubs that spark our interests.
"You're still tall, Teq. There's the Volleyball Club's booth," he pointed somewhere.
"Sasali ka ba? Ano palang clubs ang sasalihan mo?"
"Stuck between Volleyball or Journalism."
"Ako rin! 'Yan ang pinagpipilian ko."
We ended up joining the two clubs just like what Maki did. It was my first time joining organizations and I signed up for two, how great is that? Daming time!
Nasaan yung dalawa mo pang kaibigan, Ferrer?"
"Nasa ibang section po ang mga kaibigan namin," he looked at me as if he corrected what Sir Hunter said.
We went back to our classroom afterwards for our Math Class.
"You need to divide this here, and, hey are you listening?"
I blinked twice. I got busy looking at Yeon's thick glasses!
Pwede paulit?" I apologized.
Focus!
"Thank you!
