Chapter Three: Surprise date

A FEW DAYS AFTER YOUR FIRST MEETING with your pro mentor: Mirko, you were called back to receive your training regime. For the first week, it felt like torture. She forced you to lift weights and run on the treadmill for hours, and don't even think about mentioning the stairmaster. Perhaps you could be the stairmaster hero once you graduated- You thought sourly as an image of the machine popped up in your mind. But, it began to ease off once that initial period had passed. Running 5k every day was now a breeze, and you could dead lift up to 300kg in weights. Safe to say that you were coming along nicely, but the entrance exam was just around the corner, and you still hadn't grasped a full understanding of your quirk.

"So, how was training today lil sis?" Sora exclaimed happily from the other end of the phone.

"Fine. I'm just frustrated that I can't control these reactions yet...My exam is in like a week.."

"Hm. That does sound like a bit of a mess. But I'm sure you'll work it out!"

"Thanks Sora." You huffed. "Really helpful."

"Sorry~~Anyways, I've got to get going now. Almost time for my patrol so I need to get suited up."

"No worries. Talk to you later."

"Kiss kiss, Bye, bye!"

The call was quickly ended, and you didn't hesitate to throw your phone on your bedside table. Today was Saturday, meaning you had the day off from training, and absolutely nothing to do. Since you've been studying hard with your tutor, as well as training with Mirko, 'making friends' wasn't really something you had time for, and so you never had plans on the weekends, easily making them your least favourite part of the week. You let out an annoyed grown, flopping back onto your bed as you gazed up at your ceiling, allowing your eyes to slowly flutter shut.

You quickly sat up as your phone lit up with a notification.
