Chapter three

Your beautiful

Didn't she know that any other girl in the club would do absolutely anything to be in her position right now? He was trying to help her life by taking her to the most expensive hotel in town.

Never, ever, had Sebastian approached a woman in the bar. They were always the one who walked up to him after he requested their presence.

"You are proving hard to get." Sebastian spoke as as he sat on the empty stool beside her. Adrienne was drinking another glass when she heard the voice, the voice sounded angry and irritated, but for some unknown reason it sent shivers down her spine.

She looked at the owner of the voice. And she suddenly forgot how to breathe. Hot and sexy would be an understatement to describe him. He wore a white silky button-up shirt, black pants, a luxurious leather belt, and an expensive watch to complete the look. His veins stuck out of his hand as he gripped his glass. His hair was a dark brown that looked fluffy to the touch. His jawline defined, making his face perfect . His eyes were a captivating green, you could easily lose yourself in his gaze.

As soon as Sebastian looked into the lady's eyes, he froze. He never expected the person who refused him to be this beautiful. He saw dried tears on her face, and for some unknown reason he felt the need to ask what made her cry, comfort her, and let her know that everything will be okay.

Sebastian snapped back into reality when he realised that he was overthinking the situation. It wasn't his place to know what had happened, but on the other hand, he couldn't help but ask.

"Who made you cry?" He asked in a very concerned voice, almost not believing the statement came from him, he never cared about anyone's feelings. And for a moment he felt like strangling the person that hurt her.

"Who knew you could be so caring after lashing out on me with your first statement." She mocked as she gulped down her glass of whiskey, making it her sixth glass.

Sebastian had ignored her reply and asked again, "Who made you cry?"

"My boyfriend just broke up with me. Not that I blame him for making that decision. I never took it seriously."

"I'm so sorry about that." Sebastian said softly. He was still surprised that he had apologised to her. The phrase 'I'm sorry' was something he hardly said to people even when he was the one at fault.

"Thanks." Adrienne muttered, already wondering why she had told a stranger about her problems.

Adrienne was about to call the bartender to order another glass, when Sebastian had stopped her. "You've had enough to drink already." For some reason he wanted her to stay sober.

"Whatever I do is none of your concern Mr?" She asked for his name.

Sebastian chuckled, it was the first woman he had met who had no idea who he was.

"You don't know me?" He asked surprised, almost feeling a little hurt.

She rolled her eyes. "If I knew who you were, do you think I would be asking for your name? Dumbass!"

She had called him a dumbass, and he wondered why he didn't feel phased by it. If the word 'dumbass' came out of another persons mouth, he would have destroyed that person with the click of his fingers.

"I thought the waiter had told you my name? Anyway, my name is Sebastian Miller."

"He told me I just wasn't paying attention. I'm Adrienne."

"Your beautiful Adrienne." He whispered in her ear.

Another shiver ran down her spine as her name just rolled off his tongue. She tried to hide her flushed face. "I'm sure you say that to every girl you meet."

He leaned closer to her. "I never say those words to anyone. I mean it. You're beautiful."

Adrienne felt the tiny hairs on the back of her neck stand as she felt his warm breath against her skin.

"Well, thank you." She smiled.

"My friend Dylan was supposed to come with me today, but he ditched me for a date." Sebastian mentioned, which made Adrienne chuckle.

"It's not always about you, you know. Maybe your friend is really into the person he went on a date with. Let him have fun!" She mumbled.

"Do you want to hang out with me at my hotel? Sebastian said with a slight shaky voice. He was surprised to see that she suddenly went so shy. It was usually not this way with other women. They were always the ones to suggest going to a hotel or his place.

Adrienne was about to decline his offer, but had quickly changed her mind when she stared into his beautiful eyes. She could see the passion in his eyes. He was indirectly begging for her to say yes to his invitation.

"Okay." She said hoping she wouldn't regret her decision later. Thanks to the drinks for giving her the courage to do so.

Adrienne reached for her purse to pay for her drinks but Sebastian stopped her.

"I've got it covered." He said.

"You sure? I can pay for my own drinks." She spoke. She knew the bar was expensive and the drinks she ordered weren't the cheapest of all the options, in fact it was the most expensive.

"It's been covered." He assured.

"Alright then." She rose to her feet when she almost fell over. Luckily Sebastian was by her side to help her from falling over.

Adrienne felt a jolt of electricity run through her veins. When he wrapped his large hands around her waist. She questioned why she was feeling this way about him. She was drunk but only a little.

"Why are they all staring? Are you some kind of celebrity? Adrienne asked as they walked out of the club.

Sebastian chuckled to himself. She had absolutely no idea who he was. He was sure that Dylan would laugh his ass off when he tells him that he met a lady who had no idea who he was.

"I think they are staring because of how sexy and handsome I am." He winked at her.

Adrienne rolled her eyes. "That barman over there is way hotter than you." She teased.

"Whatever makes you sleep at night." He said as they approached his car.
