Unsure (Coinpin fanfic)

Another Monday part 2

Guys, so I'm gonna take a short break on this fanfic. I promise I won't abandon it🙏 but yeah. I'll go back to it late July or early August. IK Y'ALL ARE SAD BUTTTTT I'm gonna make Coinpin and Fireafy oneshots like right now- so yeah I'ma do that until break is over. (This chapter isn't finished)

Pin's POV:
I take a deep breath as the end of lunch bell rings. Book put her hand over mine. "Are you going to be okay?" She asks with concern but a gentle smile. Earning a reassuring smile from me as I nod, she pats my back before going to her class that's upstairs.

Coiny's POV:
Still using my palm to wipe tears from earlier, I make my way to class. Pin sits next to me in this class so she'll have to talk to me, right? I mean, she could just give me the silent treatment I deserve...but, I could still try. "Hey," I jump slightly from the sudden greeting before looking up. Her... "Oh- hi, Pin..." Turns out, I don't have to be the one to start a conversation.
"U-um-... I... I didn't mean that."
"Didn't mean what?"
"You know what I'm talking about, dumbass."
"Chill, Pin-, it's a Monday. Please-"
"What I said before lunch."
"You said a lot of things before lunch..." I look at the ground, slightly irritated.
"ohmyfuckingpinfactory..., YOU IDIOT-!" Oh, shit- "Miss Thumbtack!" The redhead flinches and turns around to see our really spooky middle-aged teacher. "Y-yes?" Her hands are shaking. I can't help but feel bad (and scared) for her.
"Office." At this point. She probably does hate me. I can't just let her get in trouble because of my apparent idiocy...I have to say something.
"Wait, that's not fair- I was being rude to her too-"
"Then you can also go to the office! 🤭🤩😍🌸" Fuckingpreppyassbitc- I mean, that's fine too.

I hesitantly catch up to Pin in the hallway. "What are you doing?" She asks. She doesn't sound mad or anything... "Uhm...I tried to defend you so I got sent to the office too~!😁"
"...idiot."
"Meanie."
"Girly-"
"*GASP*! EMO-!" (A/n: no offense to my fellas🗣️)
"I'M NOT EMO, DAMNIT!" She giggles and playfully punches my shoulder. I would pay to hear her laugh again.
"OWW!! I'M TELLING A TRUSTED ADULT!😡😭" I threaten jokingly.
"I dare you, twit- oh, shit. We're already here."
"Damn, wasn't the last time you were sent to the office was in fifth grade(💀)?" I ask, feeling guilty that I'm the reason this happened. She nods and sighs.
"Uhm, yeah.. it's not like I did something crazy though so I think I'll be fine." She's talking more to herself than to me.
"Pin, I'm..sorry for getting you in trouble because of my stupidness.." My crush looks at the floor, messing with the strap on her purse. Why is it so cute when she does that?!
"I-It's okay, really. C'mon, let's get this over with." She says reluctantly. Before she can touch the hand handle I aggressively snatch it and open the door for her. She rolls her eyes and boops my nose on her way in, my hopes and the temperature in my face go up.

*Timeskip bc idk how getting in trouble works🤩 (I'm a good/wimpy child🤭😎)*

Basically what happened is: because both of them have a history of talking back to teachers and being disruptive, they both got an out-of-school suspension for only today (have to go home😍 I hope this is the right term bc if it's not I'm gonna cry in never-got-in-trouble-before-ever.

I look over at the fidgety, anxious girl as I feel a pang of guilt in my stomach. "Uhm, Pin..?" The way she looked at me is making me want to say nevermind. This is kinda important though so I continue. "M-my mom is at work right now..and not only is she an hour away but there's like a special event right now for her and it'd be really bad if she had to leave to pick me up...and she'd probably kill me." I explain, not being able to hold eye contact with her for many reasons. "So," the redhead starts. "...do you, like, need my mom to pick you up or something?" She asks slightly confused. I nod, "T-that would be great if she can.."
"I'm sure she can." She gets out her phone, probably to text her mom.
"Thanks, Pinster."
"Please.😭 My mom already calls me that."
