Chapter 03

It's been two weeks since Wonkyung is in 1984. She gets to be more closer with her 18 years old mom as well as Soonyoung. She also made a few friends, which are friends with both Eunjung and Soonyoung too.

Honestly speaking, Wonkyung enjoyed it here. How she could be friend with her 18 years old mom and do the things friends normally does together. But sure, 1984 is a whole lot different from 2024.

"Jeon Haejun, one of my suspect as well. Rarely talks with mom but whenever he does, he will never stop smiling." Wonkyung whispered to herself as she's now watching her mom and Haejun talking with each other.

"What are you doing?" Asked Soonyoung.

"Shhhhh!!! I'm tryna eavesdrop." She whispered.

"Tryna? What's that?" Soonyoung asked with his eyebrows quirked, obviously looking so confused as he've never heard of it.

"I don't get why Eunjung talks to a man like Haejun." He properly stood up, not caring that Eunjung's gonna see them both hiding and watching her.

"Why?"

"They once fought."

"Really?!" She asked ever so loudly, gaining attention from everyone nearer and that includes both Eunjung and Haejun.

"I shouldn't have said it." He said whilst scratching the back of his head.

"Hey guys! Why are you both hiding?" Asked Eunjung the moment she reached the two.

"Beats me." Wonkyung said with a shrug. And again, both Soonyoung and Eunjung gave her a questioning look as they do not understand what she meant.

"You want us to beat you?"

Jeon Wonwoo.

Jeon Haejun.

So far, these two guys are the potential suspects of her biological father. As for Wonwoo, the eyes says it all but as for Haejun, it isn't clear yet as she've never really look at him up close, but he is indeed tall too.

Love at first sight.

Tall.

These are the only hints Wonkyung got from her mom before she passed away. Yes, her mom passed away when she was just 11 years old. Wonkyung had always wondered why her mom never showed the picture of her dad nor even tell her his name, it became a mystery to Wonkyung.

That is why, Wonkyung had no idea who her dad is, how he looked, how tall he is, how his voice sounded and even of how he and her mom fell in love.

"Love at first sight?" She asked herself.

"Maybe there is someone else that I haven't discovered just yet." She added.

Sitting on the bench of the park, Wonkyung is currently enjoying her ice cream when she suddenly saw Wonwoo just walking. She really have the urge to go and talk to him, who knows Wonwoo might really be her dad? But deep inside, Wonkyung kind of felt like Wonwoo isn't her biological dad.

"It's okay, I've only been here for two weeks. Maybe I'll slowly unveil the truth." She shrugged.

"You."

"Me?" Wonkyung pointed her finger to her face as she looked around, wondering who might be calling her.

It's just Wonwoo.

"Where are you from?"

"As in? Previous country that I lived in? Previous city? Previous house? Previous school that I attended?" She frowned, pointing her finger to her own face.
