"The real reason why I wanna come here is because I want to find out who my dad really is. Mom never told me even my dad's name. I've always wondered why she never wanted to tell me about my dad." Wonkyung started her explanation.
"And then when I came here, I was convinced that you're my dad because the only person she ever talked to were only Soonyoung, Jihoon and you. I'm pretty much sure Soonyoung and Jihoon is not my dad, because of their family name. And then, your name is Jeon Wonwoo and I'm Jeon Wonkyung. You get that? We both got Jeon Won in our names. We even got the same eyes." She voiced out for more of her points.
"And then mom always knew what you're up to. Like you're out of the town and so on. I thought it was arranged marriage because you told me that you can't hate her. But that's only because Eunjung is your stepbrother's girlfriend." She added, showing him her perplexed look.
"And when I first came here, I was surprised to know that mom used to play violin. She never even once mentioned about her playing violin before." When she told him that, his expression turned surprised.
"So, she did stop then at the end." Wonwoo murmured.
"But why?"
"It's supposed to be a secret. Mr. Choi hates the fact that Eunjung is playing violin. She've always dreamed of studying abroad to pursue her dream to become a violinist. But her father was really against it, even until now. One time her father smashed her violin, she cried for days. The current violin she's using, my stepbrother was the one who bought it for her." He said. Wonkyung who was focused on listening to him, got her jaws dropped.
"I don't get it, Wonwoo. Why does my grandfather hates the fact that mom's playing violin? She's very talented." She asked with a small frown.
"I don't know, Wonkyung."
"It's gonna be a waste. You know how much my mom loves playing violin. Back in the future, she never mentioned anything about violin to me. I was surprised of how talented she was. I don't want her to ever stop, Wonwoo." She cooed as she plays with his finger, he could tell how much sadness she's feeling just by hearing her voice and seeing the look on her face.
"But you said that you don't know who your dad was. But do you know the reason why he left?" He asked.
"That's what I'm trying to find as well. I've found the reason why mom stopped playing violin. Now I'm left with finding the reason why he left us. Or it could be that we're the ones who left him." He could tell how unsure she was with her statement by how her voice sounded.
Wonwoo being Wonhyuk's stepbrother, had no idea too that one day his stepbrother is gonna leave Eunjung. He knew how much the two loves each other. The reason why Wonhyuk works in Seoul is because he wants to marry Eunjung and bring her to live in Seoul when he's supposed to manage their family business.
But that's when something clicked his head.
"Wonkyung, maybe.."
"Maybe?"
"Maybe it's the family business. I was the one who's supposed to take care of it. Maybe my parents forced him to take care of it one day." Wonwoo's utterance does makes sense to her, it's something that she've thought of before.
"I thought of that too. But I don't know, it's either he left us because of the business or mom left him because of the business. I don't know who actually left, Wonwoo. It's very confusing." Wonkyung hold her head with both her hands, soon a sigh escaped her lips.
Wonwoo didn't know what to do, seeing her looking so stressed worried him way too much. He didn't want her to overthink and didn't want her to stresses herself out.
