It's been three days since Wonwoo haven't come back. He've been out of the town for checking and treatments. It worries her way too much, sometimes she couldn't even sleep properly due to overthinking.
Even if it's only been three days, but surely it feels like three weeks without him for her. She felt lonely and miserable without him. Finding out the reason why her dad left them isn't as important as not having Wonwoo around her. She's so used with his existence, how is she gonna live once she returns back to 2024?
"I'm so attached to him.." She murmured.
"Wonkyung."
Wonkyung lifted her head and was surprised to see Wonwoo standing there with a bright smile.
"Wonwoo!" She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, Wonwoo hold her and spinned her around. The kind of feeling of being able to see her again is probably the most beautiful thing.
"Wonwoo, are you okay?" She asked with tears on her eyes.
"I'm okay." He gave her reassuring smile.
"What did the doctor say?"
"The same thing."
The same thing, the doctor had been saying the same thing to him. That is, he doesn't have much time left.
"I forced the doctor to let me go. I wasn't supposed to leave the hospital. But I wanted to be with you. That's why he's letting me go today. But I'll need to come back tomorrow." He explained.
It's something that she feared the most. With the doctor saying that, it seems like there really isn't much time left for him.
"I will skip school Wonwoo. I decided that I won't be coming to school anymore. There's no point of coming to school if there's no you. I just want to be with you the whole time." She said with tears falling down her red cheeks.
Wonwoo cupped her cheeks and nodded his head.
"Okay, we will be together the whole time." He said before proceeding to hug her.
-
"Woah!! This is your room?! It's so nice!!" Wonkyung shouted as she ran around Wonwoo's room in amazement. It is indeed bigger than her room and how there's so many comic books.
"Do you like it?"
"Are you fudging kidding me? I don't just like it I heckin' love it!" Wonwoo let out a soft chuckle hearing her '2024' words, surely he didn't understand but certainly it means that she loves it.
"I don't like reading novels but I do love reading comics. Gosh, there's so many limited edition ones here. We could barely find these comics in 2024." She said, still in awe.
Wonkyung grabbed one of the comics and starts reading as she took a seat on the window seat. Wonwoo didn't hesitate to take one as well and literally layed his head on her laps which surprised her.
"Why? Are you uncomfortable?" He asked.
"N-no. I'm fine with it."
The two spent their time reading comics in silence. It wasn't really a fancy kind of date but they're actually happy to be able to do such little things.
"Haa.. I'm done reading. I'm going to lay on my bed." Wonwoo proceeds to lay on his bed after he put the comic book back to the shelf. Wonkyung smiled, shaking her head.
"Come here, lay down next to me." He patted the empty space beside him. Wonkyung's face turned red as her eyes went slightly wide.
"Y-you want me to lay down b-beside you?" She asked stuttering. He didn't say anything, he only answered her by nodding his head. The nervous and hesitant Wonkyung slowly went and layed down beside him. Her cheeks feels even more hotter now and when Wonwoo motioned closer, it feels like she couldn't breathe at all.
