Finally, the moment Wonkyung had been waiting for which is to finally hangout with her dad. She couldn't even focus during class as she kept thinking of where should she go and what should she eat with her dad. She's indeed, very excited.

"Have you seen Wonwoo?" Asked Wonkyung to her mom.

"He's out of the town for a few days with his parents." She replied.

"HUH?!" Her eyes widened.

That really broke Wonkyung's heart, shattering into millions of pieces. She was feeling very excited about hanging out with her dad, she even tried to think of what to eat and where to go with her dad. It seems like her excitement was for nothing.

"W-when is he coming back?" She asked.

"Maybe in two or three more days. Or tomorrow." Eunjung shrugged.

Wonkyung's shoulders dropped. She couldn't believe her dad would make an empty promise, even though he clearly didn't mention it as a 'promise' but still, it hurts her. He could've told her about him being out of the town for a few days.

Walking back to the guesthouse with her head lowered, it feels like Wonwoo have betrayed her, whether he meant it or not, that's a different story.

"Pfft, if he didn't want to hangout with me he could just say it instead of giving me fake hope. Or if it was really urgent he could've at least tell me about it beforehand. He probably told my mom, that's why she knew." She burbled to herself.

"Hi."

Wonkyung lifted her head, it's Wonwoo standing few meters away in front of her.

"Sorry, am I late?" He asked.

"I thought you're out of the town for a few days? That's what Eunjung told me." She frowned.

"I was, but we finished earlier so that's why we came back earlier." He replied.

'Oohh.. Family business? He probably went out of town for a business trip with his parents.' She thought.

"Where do you want to go?" He questioned.

"Can we go eat first?"

"Yes, sure."

Wonkyung told him that he could decide wherever he wants to eat, whether it's the street market or restaurants, she's fine with any of his choice. And Wonwoo decided to bring her eat at a fast food restaurant.

"I thought you're gonna eat foods like tteokbokki or kimbap or japchae, you know? Traditional foods." She said, frowning.

"I would like to, but I think I want cheeseburger for now." He flashed her a smile. Wonkyung blinked her eyes witnessing that stunning smile of his. But soon, she shook her head.

"Woah, I love cheeseburger too! Dad, we could actually have a lot in common!" She exclaimed.

"Huh? What did you just called me?" He scowled at her.

"Tsk, don't mind me. It just slipped out of my mouth, I even call Eunjung mom sometimes. Just ignore it and pretend as if I called your name instead of dad." Wonkyung said while slowly waving her hand.

"You're really a strange girl."

"Bet."

Wonwoo gave her a curious look.

"That was a slang. If I said cool stuffs that sounded weird or new to you just ignore me. I'm just being a gen z." The way she said it, Wonwoo probably understood only 50% of what she was saying.

"What..?"

When they got their foods, the two started eating. Of course, Wonwoo didn't talk much. Most of the time it was Wonkyung who started the conversation.
