Eri was particularly suspicious of Gohan for a reason she cannot explain. She just felt it, the feeling that something was off about the scholarly boy. Ever since the first day, when she was involuntary volunteered by Erasa to have him as a seatmate, Eri thought he was no ordinary human.

As he did, after all, pass mathematics, physics, and all the like as one of the top scorers in Orange Star High School. Superhuman, truly.

At first, she just saw him as a studious boy, a destined valedictorian by the end of their high school years. However, a destined valedictorian shouldn't be able to jump 30 feet up in the air and stay there as if gravity didn't exist. That gym class session truly messed with Eri's head, as she had thought she had been hit by a ball and hallucinated the whole thing. Thankfully though, Videl saw the whole thing too.

By the end of that day, Videl had invited Eri over to the Satan household to talk about the whole thing.

Videl once thought that she was the only one who found Gohan suspicious, so the fact that Eri also felt the same strengthened her belief that Gohan was a more mysterious individual than he made everyone believe. In the end, they both agreed (or rather, Videl forced Eri to agree) to watch over Gohan and report to each other of their findings.

Honestly, Eri felt that it was a bit of a stretch. They were more like stalkers than investigators at that point, but how can she refuse Videl? The girl's convincing prowess involved two fists and kicks rivaling that of a horse.

Now, at the present, Eri had reported almost zero findings to Videl. The boy beside her just looked far too innocent and polite. If anything, accusing Sharpner of being the Gold fighter would be far more acceptable.

In fact, Eri brought up her theory as they waited for class to start.

Videl found the idea ridiculous, but Eri only shrugged. "I mean, he's blond."

Sighing, Videl narrowed her eyes at her. "So, by your logic, Erasa's also the gold fighter because she's blonde." Erasa raised a brow at this before continuing to drink her frappucino.

Eri shook her head and stuck out her hand as if making symbols in the air to explain. "No, no. You see, Sharpner has long hair so it can definitely go up as you'd describe."

At that moment, Videl felt as if she wanted to smack her own head against the wall. "The Gold fighter had spiky hair that goes up to the sky. How can Sharpner accomplish that do?"

Silence filled the air for a few good seconds before Eri spoke. "... Gel?"

The most disappointed sigh came out of Videl at that moment. "How are you at the top of the class all these years?"

Eri shrugged. "Half-assed academic performance with a bit of personality."

"Hm. Fair point." Videl actually nodded, knowing very well she does it herself. Though, she wasn't all too worried about the results.

She's rich, after all.

As they continued chatting, Gohan casually listened in without making it too obvious. He had his eyes on his notes, but his attention divided.

He had caught on to their earlier conversation, the one of the Gold Fighter. He internally winced, his hand twitching as he regretted his earlier heroic interference. He had hoped that his Super Saiyan appearance would be quickly forgotten, but, he now realized he left too good of an impression on the people to fade away from the spotlight immediately.

The Great Saiyaman needed to step up his game.

He cleared his throat and mustered up the courage to speak.
