"Oh, look. It's everyone from Tokyo together. You went out of your way to greet us? Disgusting." Mai Zen'in spoke with her classmates joined by her side.
"Stop flattering yourself, we'll be expecting you next year also." Sora's voice made everyone turn to her as she stepped over to her classmates, stretching her arm to the side. Mai scoffed at the first-year, sending her an aggravated glare as Sora kept herself from laughing by how simply the Zen'in sister could get offended.
"Shut up. Hurry up and hand over the cake box, and the yatsuhashi, kudzu noodles, and buckwheat cookies." Nobara demanded as she motioned her finger to the Kyoto students.
Gojo gets there late as usual and hands out souvenirs to all Kyoto students,
"And for Tokyo students, we have this!" Satoru stated, motioning to the box he wheeled to them and one leg in the air. "Overly excited adults are weird." Nobara states as the box opens. Sora's eyes widen at the familiar strands of pink hair as a disappointed sigh escapes her with a shook of her head,
Please tell me they didn't..
"Hey! OPP!" Itadori exclaims, jumping out of the box and revealing himself to his classmates. "It's your departed friend, Itadori Yuji-kun!" Gojo exclaims.
Of course they did.
While Megumi and Nobara had stunned and horrified faces, expecting the complete opposite of what Yuji was expecting. He then glances to Sora who facepalmed herself, not wishing to deal with their stupidity.
Upset with Yuji for keeping quiet for two months, Nobara demands answers.
"I'm sorry for keeping quiet about being alive to you two." Itadori apologies. Sora upon hearing his statement wished she wasn't standing right behind Megumi and Nobara,
"Us..two?" Nobara questioned. Both of them creeping over their shoulders, eyes widen and a terrifying expression on their faces. "What?" Sora mumbled innocently, her head lowered down as she traced the lines of the concrete with her foot. "You knew?!" Megumi exclaimed.
"I did, so what?" Sora questioned, snapping her head to her classmates. "You two knew about his death and still kept it a secret from me!" She stated, jabbing her two fingers in their chests. "Besides, I trained Itadori-kun, so he'll be able to participate in the event."
"It's true. She chased me with her snakes." Itadori confessed, shivering at the memory of him being chased by the serpents.
˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆ In the Tokyo Team meeting, Nobara punishes Yuji.
"Excuse me...Depending how you look at it, this could be considered very extreme bullying." Yuji stated, holding a frame beside his head kneeling down on the floor.
Panda and Toge tell her it's not necessary, confusing Yuji with their respective quirks. While Megumi and Panda explain Toge's cursed speech, Sora lowers down the frame that Yuji was holding sending him a nod that he can release it.
"More importantly...Yuji, give me back my Slaughter Demon." Itadori remembers that he broke it, so he lies out of fear and says Gojo still has it.
"So, what's the plan?" Maki changes the theme and goes on with the strategies. "The group battle format is what we expected, but we have another member now."
"There isn't much time to change strategies," Sora adds. Yuji reveals he can punch, kick and much more, but to his surprise Panda express that they already have enough of that.
Megumi reveals that if a brawl came down to a fight without cursed energy, Yuji would win.
"Fushiguro's right. Itadori-kun doesn't have much of techniques as the rest of us...can't believe I'm saying this—but I agree with Megumi. Yuji has immense raw strength and speed." Sora adds, agreeing with her best friend's statement.
"Strong enough to beat you?" Maki questions Sora with a smirk. The Geto simply glances to Yuji, who was still a little bug she can stomp on in her eyes. She turns to the Zen'in with a challenging scoff and her fist connected with her palm, "Please."
˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆ Before the event begins, Megumi confronts Yuji.He can tell something happened and gets Yuji to admit that he lost someone,
"Geto-san helped me regain my strength after that, so I owe her a lot." Itadori admits, as the two boys glance to Sora who was talking with Nobara and Maki. Megumi softly smiles at his statement, knowing she is the best person to talk about loosing someone dear to them.
"Yeah, I agree. Sora does seem terrifying at the start, but she's protective of people she cares about." Megumi adds, making Yuji turn to him once more. The Fushiguro steps forward to his classmate, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Don't make her regret it."
Itadori watched the Fushiguro join the others before glancing once more to Sora who was already keeping an eye on the two. Yuji realised what Megumi had meant with his statement. Sora cares about Yuji.
The Tokyo students rejoin, fired up for the event and Yuji in front. "Let's win!" He states. However, his moment is soon ruined by Maki who doesn't appreciate him taking the lead and kicks him aside.
