CHAPTER V.: Secrets

The next day, Sora was still shaken by yesterday's event..and the whole seeing Suguru scene. The girl went back to her old habits-Train, paint, sleep—No food at all. She couldn't find herself to eat it. Every time she placed the fork into her mouth it made her barf the same second, which worried her other classmates.

Sora was in her shower under the hot water that steamed the whole restroom. She felt her muscles relax under the warmth and simply just stood under it. The water poured onto her back as she kept her head lowered on the floor and her hair in half, rested on each of her side. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw him. And the mirror.

The scene kept replaying in her head and the feeling she had as if it was pulling her to those doors. And Itadori, how he held her comfortably even though he was still a bit scared of her. She had the same feeling when he had her in his arms, in the past when Megumi and Sora were children. When she cried how he would always comfort her in any way he can even though she was older. He had lost a sister as much as she had lost a brother.

Sora was lost in her thoughts that she hasn't even realised that the water got hotter and poured on her back—leaving red marks. Urugus, noticing this, revealed himself out of her back as he crawled over to the pipes and turned the steaming water off. He was quick to grab one of the towels and wrapped it around Sora's steamed body.

Urugus quickly took control of his vessel's body and led her to the bed, sitting her upon it before leaving her in control. As Sora got back to reality, she was met with her curse's glowing eyes in front of her face.

"Huh? Uru? What-?" Sora questioned, her eyes seeing the red marks she had received from standing under the hot water for too long. "I...saved....you." Urugus said with a raspy voice as his mouth hasn't moved a bit. Sora let out a disappointed sigh as she rubbed her forehead and nodded. With that, the curse was quick to disperse and let his owner be in peace.

Sora went back to her classes, only to notice that Yuji was nowhere in sight. Even though he is sometimes late, he doesn't miss the classes. The Geto turned to Megumi who sat beside her,

"Where's Itadori?" She whispered. Upon Megumi's expression, she knew something wasn't right. Sora then turned to Nobara waiting for an answer, but Kugisaki just kept her head lowered as her lips quivered and a tear fell on her notebook.

That's when Sora realised, that something was terribly wrong with Yuji. "He's gone, Sora." Megumi mumbled to her. The black haired woman swallowed her saliva and her grip on sides of the table tightened, so much it almost broke.

Just as the bell rung, Sora was the first to rush out the classroom. Her chest was tightening and she felt the walls were closing in her,

"You must calm down, Geto." Urugus shouted in their head. Sora winced from the sudden order and grabbed her head in distress. She crashed into one of the walls with her hand on it.

Sora tossed from one wall to another as her breaths fastened, her chest rising and her vision beginning to blur. It felt like everything was spinning around her.

"Sora!" Urugus shouted. Sora gasped as she noticed the stairs below her. Too late to respond and catch herself, the black haired slipped and rolled to the end of the stairs—her head hitting the edge in process. Sora laid there as the spinning slowly drifted away and her eyes began to close,

"Geto-sama!" A voice fainted in her head as footsteps approached her and a familiar pink strands of hair coming into her view. Sora lifted her hand weakly to his face, glad he was alright. However, their moment was soon over by the hit Sora had received and she fell unconscious in his arms.

Itadori moved pieces of her hair beside and noticed the blood coming from under her bangs. His thumb slid against her hot cheek as he bit his lip in distress. Yuji placed his arm under her back and legs as he lifted her off the ground. Sora's hair fell to the side and her head was buried in Yuji's neck.

"Yuji, are you insane? Someone could—!" Satoru shouted as Itadori pushed the doors open with his back to Ieiri's office. The boy turned to them both as Satoru's eyes risen beneath the blindfold upon seeing the unconscious girl in his hands.

"What the hell happened?" Gojo gritted out between his teeth as he rushed to Yuji and picked Sora from his hands. "She doesn't know, does she?" Yuji questioned, glancing to Satoru as he placed her onto the table.

With a sigh, his sensei shook his head and pulled his student aside. "We..I, didn't want risking Urugus taking control and fighting Sukuna. We still haven't discovered if Sora's curse is preventing her from fatal situations, Yuji. It was for the best." Satoru spoke, looking at Ieiri who checked the unconscious girl's situation.

Ieiri gasped at the sudden curse growling, towering over her. "Uh, Satoru." She called. The two men turned to Urugus who was protecting Sora's body with his shadow,

"Urugus," Satoru called. Urugus growled loudly as he turned to the white haired, "It's because of you, Satoru Gojo...You did this." He spoke, showing his deadly fangs and threatening glowing eyes. "You had not told her about the mission..and Sukuna's fight. The boy's death." Urugus motioned to Itadori as guilt overwhelmed the boy,

"She wished to find you and for you to tell her it was all a lie...a joke." The curse spoke as he had turned to Yuji. "Is she okay?" Yuji mumbled out, not daring to meet the curse in a form of a shadow wolf. "You're lucky..she cares." With that sentence, Urugus was quick to disperse in the air—returning into Sora's body.

"What the hell..?" Ieiri mumbled as she moved pieces of bangs off of Sora's forehead, revealing the cut she had received-healing. After a moment of silence, Sora's gasps filled the room as she sat up, gripping onto her chest.

"I couldn't breathe..I—" Sora spoke with multiple breaths escaping her as she glanced around the room and met the panicked faces of the two adults. And his.

When Satoru noticed Sora's eyes darkening, he knew she was furious. Furious on both of them. Sora jumped off the table and if Satoru hadn't stopped her, she would've ripped Yuji's body apart.

"Get off of me!" She ordered as Satoru held her from behind, caging her in his arms. "You lied! All of you!" She shouted and tossed aside in Gojo's arms. "They said you were dead!" Sora continued and Satoru nodded at Ieiri who stepped from behind them, "No, No!" Her voice deepened as she trashed her head to the side only to fail. Ieiri injected her with a sedative and Yuji stepped forward to the two only for Gojo to shake his head in denial, warning him not to approach her.

Sora fell unconscious once again in Satoru's arms, "What did you do? What did you inject her with?!" Yuji shouted as Gojo tossed the Geto over his shoulder,

"A sedative..and some medicine." Ieiri revealed. Yuji exhanged glances between the two, searching for an answer. "She won't remember anything that happened in the last few hours. We'll tell Nobara and Megumi to speak no word of the mission with the special grade curse  and your death." Gojo explained as he stepped over to the doors.

"Why? Gojo-sensei?" Itadori questioned and stepped over to his sensei who simply sighed. "Because she'll never forgive herself for caring for a boy she met a week ago. It'll swallow her whole and not even Urugus could get her out of her own cage." And with that sentence, Satoru walked out and closed the doors shut.

Yuji's shoulders fell in sadness and shock. His heart ached, but was full to know Sora cared. Even for a small amount..she still cared.
