[Jake expresses his concerns to Yui while you're getting to know Danny better.]

_____
"Yui, I need to be alone right now. I need time to think." She pulled back as she held your arms, her eyes observing your face. She looked concerned and you could tell she did not want to leave you but she respected you. "Al...alright, if that's what you want. I'm going to be waiting for you to come back and don't worry about David, we will get rid of him." She said.

You tried to force a smile but couldn't. "Thank you." You said.

Yui sighed deeply, letting go of your arms. She reluctantly turned around and began heading back to the campfire, glancing back at you.

Yui headed back to the campfire briskly, Jake's and David's voices getting closer.

I'm gonna kick his ass, she thought.

As Yui came into the clearing she saw David was grabbing Jake by the arm and Jake yanked it away, shoving David.

"You're worse than the killers! You prey on your own..." Jake's expression was disgusted and he went to reach for his knife. Dwight and Zarina were standing up watching, unsure what to do.

"Stop! Enough!" Yui shouted approaching the center of the camp. Yui glared at David. "You really...really should leave now." Her eyes drilled into David. David looked around seeing all four survivors glaring at him, threatening. He scoffed. "I don't want to be here anyway, sorry bunch of sods you are." He turned around heading into another portion of the woods.

Jake watched David as he left, hunched over, his hand resting on his survival knife in his pocket. When David could no longer be seen, he relaxed, straightening up. Dwight and Zarina sat back down, Zarina shaking her head. "He's really lost his mind. He'll get his one day, permanently."

Jake remained standing, scanning the tree line. Dwight brought his hands up to his head and massaged, closing his eyes. Jake turned to face the campfire and raised his eyes to meet Yuis. Jake nodded his head behind him, gesturing Yui to follow him. Jake had walked farther out from the fire where Zarina and Dwight remained. Yui spoke when she caught up to him.

"You want to go after him?" She asked. Jake shook his head. "As much as I do, that's not what I pulled you over here for."

Yui looked confused, tilting her head. "What is it?" She asked.

Jake placed his hands on his hips, looking at the ground. There was a brief moment of silence before he slowly raised his eyes to Yuis.

He swallowed, looking at her concerned. "Something is bothering me terribly...and I need your thoughts."

Yui looked even more confused but nodded her head.

Jake sighed. "Its not making sense to me. The last trial...where I was...was mori'd..."

Yui stared, listening intently.

"She said she was waiting for me at the other gate and that she left because she believed I had escaped..."

Yui continued to stare, nodding slowly.

"The problem with that is the other gate was not opened, Yui. I saw it before I entered the main cabin- where I heard her crying out. She would not have had enough time to reach it and open it..."

Yuis expression turned skeptical, and she placed a hand on Jakes shoulder. "Jake, it may have been partially opened by another survivor."

"No. It's impossible, I watched the other two cross the threshold before me. I was waiting for her."

Yui looked at Jake with concern.

Jake swallowed. "When I was making my way to the stairs I passed the bar table, and the winter coat she had on was on the groud. She was there."
