You shot up with a sharp breath inhaling deeply, you were seated in front of the campfire - its flames licking the cool air.

You frantically looked around you but there was no one there. You've noticed that the Entity tended to group you with the same handful of survivors when you returned to campfire. Once in a while another survivor would be there that you didn't recognize, but for there to be no one at the campfire was unusual.

You stood up swaying slightly. "Yui!?" You shouted. "Dwight!?" Your voice becoming panicked.

Where the hell is everyone, you thought. You spun around and squinted your eyes, looking at the woods around you for any movement but there was nothing.

Your mind recalled your last trial and you remembered Zarina was sacrificed, you never came to her aid. A guilty pit formed in your stomach and you swallowed hard.

"They've all been called to trial." A voice came from behind, it was Zarina.

You spun on your heels, happy to see her. "Zarina...I'm glad to see you. I...I'm sorry that I didn't get to you in time." Your voice soft.

Zarina had a small bundle of wood in her arms and she passed you, kneeling by the fire and placed the bundle next to it. You watched her intently.

She raised from the floor and took a seat on a log that was closest to the fire, reaching her hands out to its flames.

"Its fine. I'm sure you tried." She continued to stare at the fire.

You watched her trying to change your guilty expression. "The time...it just slipped away from me. It made no sense when I saw you get taken." You folded your hands still standing.

There was a brief moment of silence before Zarina replied.

"I just don't understand what you were doing...I fought and fought and fought and I never even saw you. Were you...were you hiding?" Zarina looked up at you, holding back tears.

"No! I wasn't! I was looking for you I swear. I was so unfamiliar with the area and I lost track of where you were. I'm sorry Zarina." A partial truth. You wanted to sit next to her but felt she wanted space. You made your way to a log nearby and lowered yourself to the floor, resting your back on the log.

Zarina turned her head from you slightly, sniffling. She wiped her eyes with the end of her sleeves. She turned back to you and you patiently waited for her to respond.

"Its okay, truly. I'm just...I'm just so tired. The pain and suffering is getting to me...I've been doing this for so long." Her voice cracked.

You nodded and smiled at her, understanding. You didn't have a response and so you just stare into the fire. Guilt continued to poke and prod at your emotions and your mind wondered to the Ghostface.

He had allowed you to escape. You couldn't stop your mind from remembering how your hand felt in his as he practically made out with your wrist.

Stop, this is insane, your thoughts speaking out. You cannot be attracted to a murderer...he's out of his mind.

You heard and agreed with your thoughts but your body denied them. You closed your eyes and sighed biting your lip gently. You wanted to see him again as much as you did not want to admit it. It made zero sense, you attempted to chase logic but it refused to allow you to catch it.
