[The group discusses Jake's concerns as we ease into part two with you and Dannys second solo trial.]

"I'm so embarrassed..." Dwight removed his glasses, rubbing the top portion of his nose.

"Dwight, don't be. It was your first mori, it may test your limits but you will come out stronger." Yui rubbed Dwights back in circles.

He raised his head to look at her. "You and Jake handled it better than me, recovered more quickly." He looked down shaking his head. "I'm weak..."

"You're not, don't do this to yourself." Yui said.

Dwights gaze drifted slowly to the fire, and he rubbed his knees. "You should of seen it. I was only partially aware, but the killer killed me in front of her. I was covering my eyes, not even fighting back..."

Dwight sniffled, unblinking. "He spoke to me Yui. I've never heard any killer speak before. He told me I would suffer...and he said something else, when he was...when he was on top of me."

Yui listened intently, her hand on Dwights back.

"Something about how quickly we forget." Dwight turned to face Yui, his expression sorrowful.

"What do you think he meant by that?"

Yui gazed at Dwight with sympathy. "I wouldn't hold anything any killer says to too much value. They are not human, even the ones that look human. They know nothing other than to kill for the Entity. "

A faint smile appeared on Dwights face. "You're right, I don't know why it's worrying me. You were right though, when you tried to explain how it felt. I feel a piece of me is gone...lost."

Dwight sighed and rested his head against Yuis shoulder.

"Thank you for staying with me, you didn't have to."

Yui smiled. "I wanted to, we only have eachother, us survivors.'

A thin branch could be heard snapping and they both turned to so see Jake approaching, Ace following close behind him.

Jake walked swiftly up to Yui and Dwight, slightly out of breath.

He scanned the campsite with his eyes. "Where is she?" He asked.

"She was called to trial." Yui said, looking at Jake with a concerned expression.

"She was called on her own?" Jake asked in disbelief.

Yui shrugged. "Yeah I guess she was now that I think about it, I'm sure it's happened before. She'll be paired with other survivors, you know this."

Ace walked over to a log and took a seat, crossing one leg over the other.

"Yes, but I cannot recall any of us being called to walk the trail alone." Jake remained standing.

"I don't know...what do you want me to say, Jake. Is everything ok?" Yui glanced over at Ace and smiled.

"Hey Ace, it's good to see you." She said.

Ace smiled and nodded. "You too Yui. And good to see you to Dwight, though you look like you may have had better days."

Dwight forced a smile.

Jake bent over to pick up his wooden fox figurine, and began pacing back and forth.

"No, everything is not ok. Ace, tell them what you told me." Jake continued to pace, thumbing his figurine.

Yui and Dwight brought their attention to Ace.
