Chapter 38: Only the Strong Can Survive!

Kagari was sent flying back into a wall by the large blue cobra monster known as Blue Venom Fanged Kasaka.

Lucy: Ahh! A Giant Snake!

Kagari: "Even with my sword broken, there's no way I could pierce through those scales... and fist fighting is definitely out"

Shade: This creature will be the first of many challenges in Kagari's Training.

As Kagari got back on his feet and got ready to fight. Seeing this, Kasaka charged towards him as Kagari tried to slash through the tough scales.

Gray: Is he doing it?

Erza: No. He's not. Look!

Gray looked in shock as Kagari's broken sword was not making a scratch in the snake monsters armored scales.

Happy: Kagari, run away!

Kasaka then came around for an attack, which made Kagari run in the opposite direction and jump away, hitting the ground hard.

Suddenly, Kasaka's tail was right infront of him, making Kagari block the attack as he was sent into the water below.

Gray: Oh, that's gotta hurt.

In the water, Kagari had to dodge Kasaka's head as he swam out of the water and landed on the ground. But he didn't have time to recoup as Kasaka hit him with a tail whip, sending him flying across the station.

When he looked up, he saw a large train car being hurled in his direction.

Everyone: LOOK OUT, KAGARI!!

The train car went above him and hit the wall behind him, crashing down as he ran away. As the dust settled, Kagari crawled towards his broken sword and picked it up.

Happy: If Kagari's not as strong as he is now, then how did he beat this thing?

Natsu: Don't know. Don't care. I'm getting tired of watching this!

Natsu then formed a fireball in both of his hands and was about to jump in until Erza stopped him.

Natsu: Erza.

Erza: Wait, Natsu. Before you do that. Let's see what happens next.

Kagari: "The hit. It's still not enough!"

Kagari then got back on his feet, hurt but still ready to right Kasaka.

Kagari: "How much stronger do I need to get?! Before I'm finally able to escape..."

MY PAST AS A LAUGHING STOCK!!!

Kagari unleashed an angry roar as he charged at Kasaka who had its fangs out, ready to devour him. As they were about to face off, there was a thought in Erza's mind.
