Chapter 54: The Fantasia Parade

With the defeat of Laxus, The Battle of Fairy Tail has now finally reached it's conclusion and It's only been a few hours since the fighting had ended. As Kagari, Natsu, and Gajeel fought Laxus, The Shadows were given the responsibility of bringing everyone in Fairy Tail back to the guild hall for recovery.

Thankfully, no one was badly injured from fighting each other or by the effects of The Thunder Palace. However, there were still a few who were injured to the point that they couldn't participate in the parade. As for the angry townspeople, they were given false news that everything that transpired was merely a test for an event planned for the parade that went wrong and needed to be taken care of.

As for the Fantasia Parade, it was still going to happen, but it had to be pushed back by a day.

Fairy Tail, Afternoon

Back at the guild hall, everyone looked to Erza as she received news of Master Makarov's current condition regarding his health from Porlyusica.

Erza: Thanks to Porlyusica's help, the master's going to pull through just fine. So, don't worry. He'll be back to work in no time.

Everyone was pleased to hear the good news as loud cheers of joy and relief erupted across the guild hall.

Lucy: Thank goodness. I gotta admit I was getting a little worried.

Gray: Ah c'mon, it'll take more than that to make gramps kick the bucket.

Kagari: True. But I do think we should take it a bit easy for a while for his sake.

Erza: The master is not as young as he used to be. So any added stress to his heart could significantly affect his health. Let's all be on our best behavior, okay?

Everyone: AYE SIR!!!

Lucy: I dunno if it's such a good idea to do the Fantasia Parade after everything that's happened.

Mirajane: But the master wants us to do it. Besides, it's the perfect way to cheer everyone up after all that fighting.

Kagari: It'd be a nice change of pace if you ask me...

As the group continued to talk, it was decided on who was going to participate in the parade tomorrow night, and who would have to sit out of it for this year.

Natsu and Gajeel were both sitting on a bench, wrapped in bandages and casts on their arms and legs.

Gajeel: Screw you and your parade...

Natsu: Mmph... Mmmm.. Mmmph...

Lucy: Do you have any idea what he just said?

Happy: Knowing him, it was probably something stupid.

On the floor, there was also a bucket by Natsu's foot as he occasionally had to vomit in it every few minutes.
