Chapter 48: The Harvest Festival

Kagari's House, Morning

As the next morning arrived, Kagari began to wake up as he yawned and opened his eyes to only see the color of scarlet red all in his face, leaving him confused for a few seconds. Kagari smiled as it was just his girl, Erza laying on top of him, sleeping peacefully. Since she liked to move around in her sleep, she was in a different position from last night.

Kagari's Thoughts: She has such a beautiful sleeping face....

Since she was on top of him, he didn't bother to move as he gently placed his hand on her head, running it through her bright red hair. As he did so, Erza began moving around a little bit and starting talking in a half sleep...

Erza: Mmm... Kagari... I'm not ready too... wake up... yet...

Kagari: Okay Erza, sleep as much as you need too... I'm not going anywhere...

Erza: Mmm...

Erza snuggled up a bit closer to her boyfriend as she went back to sleep on top of his chest.

Kagari's Thoughts: I bet everyone is gonna ask about us... maybe we'll go and tell them that we're a couple now...

Kagari gave Erza a kiss on her forehead before he laid his head down on the pillow. As he laid down, a thought came into his mind.

Kagari's Thoughts: That's right. I meant to give it to her last night... I'll do it when she wakes up.

After a good hour of laying in the bed, Erza's began to move as she rubbed her eyes to see that she was laying on Kagari.

Kagari: Good morning, Beautiful...

Erza: Good morning, Kagari. Did you sleep well, last night?

Kagari: Yeah. Heh, and I know you sure did too. Are you enjoying laying on top of me?

Erza was confused for a moment, until she saw she was laying on top of her boyfriend, making her smile.

Erza: Yes, I am. You're very comfortable...

Kagari: Thanks. Now while I don't mind you laying on me, I think I should get breakfast started.

(Timeskip)

Later after the two got out of bed, Kagari was now in the kitchen, making breakfast as Erza sat at table. She wasn't very talented at cooking, so she decided to leave it to him.

Once he was done, he placed a plate of pancakes and strawberries in front of her, much to her delight as she began eating.

Erza: Yummy.

Kagari's Thoughts: One minute she's strict and intimidating the next, she's cute and adorable like this... I like it.

Kagari: Well, someone looks happy...

Erza: Very much so. But I never took you as someone who could cook.
