Chapter 50: The Battle of Fairy Tail

The Battle of Fairy Tail has now begun. Laxus has now created a battle royale with the members of the guild as the contestants, the town of Magnolia as the battle area, and the lives of the girls as the stakes. Everyone was now forced to fight each other.

As for Kagari, he jumped from building to building around the town in search for the members of the Thunder Legion.

Kagari's Thoughts: As much as I want to go and face Laxus right now, getting the girls back to normal should be my main focus for the time being...

Kagari's Thoughts: Tusk and Atlas are more than powerful enough to undo that spell, but just to speed up the process...

Kagari's Thoughts: I'll start my hunt by taking out Evergreen first.

As he continued his search for them, he found Alzack running down the street with his guns in his hands.

Kagari's Thoughts: Alzack...

As he was running, Kagari jumped down from the building and landed infront of Alzack, making him jump back.

Alzack: Kagari! Have you found Evergreen?

Kagari: No. Not yet.

Now that he was seeing Alzack up close, Kagari noticed at the scrapes and marks on his clothes and face.

Kagari: You've already had to participate in a match, haven't you?

Alzack: Yeah, I had to... fight against Jet and Droy... I said that I had to do it for Bisca...

Kagari: I--

Suddenly, a strange noise caught the men's attention as they trained their eyes onto the line of purple runes that cut across the street in both directions.

Kagari: This again?

Alzack: It's another one of Freed's Enhancements.

Kagari's Thoughts: If what I heard from Makarov was true... then he must've placed them all over the town before this battle was started...

Kagari: "Only the wizard who proves himself the strongest is allowed to leave this barrier."

As he read the enchantment, Alzack began to load his gun to fight.

Alzack: Kagari... I'm sorry... but I've gotta do this...

Kagari's Thoughts: I figured as much...

Alzack: Gun Magic: Tornado Shot!

Ready to fight, Alzack aimed both of his gun at Kagari and fired two beams of light at him, making him dodge and flip to the other side.

Alzack: If I wanna save Bisca... then I have to take you down!

Kagari: I understand. But I'm not going to make this an easy fight for you.

Trying to keep his distance, Alzack fired magical bullets from his guns at Kagari, who deflected them with his daggers.

Kagari's Thoughts: My hunt is for The Thunder Legion... so there's no need to fight Alzack... but he's not going to listen to my plan...

Kagari charged towards Alzack, who fired more rounds of bullets at him..
