Clearly, I fallen asleep in class. Professor Taylor sended a jolting spell at me, causing me to wake. And also caused me a big bump on the shoulder that throbbed endlessly.
Worst than that, I was entitled to a day in the detention, dungeon 21, the one with rotting skeletons.
I groaned. I won't be able to hang out with the girls today, or relax in the lounge.
No, this Saturday, I would have to spend detention with my best friend in cell 21.
No quite a bad time at all, if you asked me. I could get out of there with Alica's flaring or my teleporting.
So it was what I did.
At Saturday morning, I was teleported straight into cell 21. Samantha lounge next to me, unconcerned.
'Relax' she said, winking. I smiled. Obviously Samantha was a escape artist.
She did this sort of stuff everyday, and if her magic wasn't so dangerous, she'll fit right in with the popular girls.
Samantha took out a hand mirror. My jaw dropped. 'Your gonna light it up and spark a fire?' I asked, thrown.
Samantha smiled deviously. 'Yep.' she said. Samamtha sparked her magic and it glowed purple. She tried again and got white, the colour of teleportation magic. I tracked down the magic system, and placed a firm hold over the magical spark. I draw, and I feel myself getting hyper, so I channel my magic into my fingertips, making them glow red with my vamp magic. I connect my magic to Samantha's, and pushed against her magic spark, making it grow back to normal.
Samantha pressed her hand against the mirror, and the whole thing heats up, causing a spark of fire to jump off. Samantha controlled the spark, making it hover towards the bars. I wait for something bad to happen, but everythings goes as planned, and the system is already so weak that it just simply melted down.
I shove my teleporting magic towards the door, and the lock disappeared. It was terrifying how easy it was to escape, and how smoothly it went. I grabbed Samantha's hand and teleported to the dorms.
'Seriously?' said Alica. We were back in the dorms, and most of my friends were here, while Angelina went to the flying competition, Lunar to training at Dream High, and Cathrine at fencing class. We use long, pointed swords at fencing, where we typically train.
Not all creatures of magic can be harmed with magic, especially snakes and dragons.
I really wanted to go to Angelina's competiton, but it wasn't allowed.
I recouted out trip back to Alica, who didn't think it should be that easy. But I handed the handmirror to Alica, who examined it.
'I won't be surprised if the mystery is left unsolved.' said Alica.
Just then, Angelina burst in. 'I won!' she gasped.
My mouth fell open in shock. 'Seriously?' I said. Angelina was good, but I never thought she was that good.
'We can go to Sunlight City now!' said Alica, jumping up and down in glee.
Angelina waved the tickets under my nose. I made a grab for them, but Angelina drew them back.
'Soon' she promised. 'Next Tuesday.'
Next Tuesday was a holiday, amd we could come back at noon, because We had free periods then. Samamtha didn't, but she could request free time.
It was study hall, and we could call off a break three times a month.
It was nearing end of the month, and Samantha had two more breaks, the first javing used to get out of class on her birthday.
Besides, we needed a break. I hated the looks I get, suspicious glares everywhere we go.
We waited for the rest of our friends to come back, then filled them on the plan.
'No way.' said Lunar. 'Sunlight's like, elite.' she said.
'Believe it.' I said.
'Were going next week.' I said.
