"That was fast." I mumbled as I managed to cast Jikan's Temporal Stasis properly. It's one of her cursed techniques in which it allows time to stop for just a few seconds.
Amongst all the kitsunes, her cursed techniques require the most stamina and concentration. I need to be very careful in casting them because it'll cause me my time and curse energy if I cast it in a wrong manner, just like what happened on the Goodwill Event.
I tried other complicated techniques again before I decided to sit down on a nearby rock and admired the view of the lake.
Today's my day off from teaching. I usually spend my time training in my house where I can freely move.
After a good ten minutes of rest, I decided to try different techniques again. Akemi's overall cursed technique is so complex that even though I started learning it when I was very young, I still can't perform some of the techniques that she noted in the book. There were so many things to keep in mind, so many techniques to familiarize.
Aside from that, Akemi's original cursed technique is very different from mine. She's a marionette, she incorporated her skills as a puppeteer. Her ability as a shield was not totally manifested. I am a full shield, some say that I am an Enchantress, the lady of the night, as my powers emphasize enchantments. My techniques were closer to Inari, she uses the Cosmic to look through everyone and enhance everyone's ability.
Kitsune Kesshō, is somehow a unique cursed technique, harnessing the mystical powers of thirteen elemental kitsune, or fox spirits. Each kitsune signifies a specific element or concept, granting the user unparalleled control over a wide array of offensive, defensive, and supportive abilities. As the technique is passed down through generations, each successor adds their own unique twist, it actually showcases the entire lineage of the wielder.
"Should I practice using Inari's cursed technique?" I mumbled as the idea crossed my mind. It sure is difficult but I've already done it in the past.
I closed my eyes for a while and concentrated the cursed energy around me. It took me a couple of seconds to create the space that I wanted.
I was about to cast it when I heard noises coming from the forest and when I opened my eyes, I saw Satoru with the kids watching me from a short distance.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked, confused. They were all wearing their casual clothes.
"Fieldtrippppp." Satoru said in glee as they marched their way to me.
"What was that you were supposed to cast? It felt different from your other cursed techniques?" He then asked.
"Right! Right! A certain area became dark!" Yuji seconded.
"Tuna! Tuna!" Inumaki seconded.
I scratched my forehead. "It's one of those complicated techniques that I am trying to master. Good thing you kept a good distance, otherwise you would be hit by it." Satoru might've figured it out by now what I was about to cast. Nothing can escape his six eyes.
Speaking of his eyes, it's so unusual for him to not cover it. He wasn't covering it at all today which made him look like a normal person hanging out with a bunch of people younger than him.
"It actually felt horrifying somehow." I heard Nobara comment on the side which made me smile awkwardly.
"That technique was actually horrifying, I don't really cast it on a regular basis. I was just testing if I could still do it. Let's head inside my house first."
Good thing my house fits a lot of people. This was actually the Fujiwara Clan's abode in Tokyo, they gave it to me three years ago as a gift.
"Someone's rich rich." Maki blurted out as she examined the whole place.
