Chapter 49: A New Page Opens

Near the Elegia Island, the soldiers and agents from the World Government ships had awoken from their journey to the world of Uta. When they saw the flames spreading across Elegia, they were horrified by the power of the threats on the island. Their superiors gave the order to open fire to destroy their enemies on the island once and for all, even if it meant wiping out the local population.

Although no naval battle took place, as they were all prisoners of Uta's illusion, a large fleet arrived from the coast of Elegia to fight against the invasion of the World Government. These were the ships of the Uruk Rebels and the Revolutionary Army, over 15,0000 men who had come to stop the enemy army.

A sudden and violent battle began between the camps for the future. Gilgamesh, the Prince of Uruk, was on the deck of his ship when he spotted a World Government ship. A Vivre Card in the palm of his hand pointed to the ship as he quickly leapt towards the deck of the enemy ship to the surprise of the soldiers. One of his companions by the name of Nippur had already been captured by Stussy of CP0 and was locked up on this ship as the Vivre Card indicated.

Gilgamesh: "My friend is on your ship. As future king of Uruk, I must come to the aid of my subjects. Give me back Nippur, that's an order or you'll all die!" He shouted, threatening the Marines soldiers with his spear.

On Elegia, (Y/N), who had finally returned to his normal state, was talking to Hancock, listening attentively to the young man's words. The two Warlords of the Sea had been sent by the World Government to help the fleet against (Y/N)'s army. When they arrived near Elegia, Mihawk and Hancock fell asleep because of the soldiers and agents listening to Uta's music.

Now that they had finally woken up, the two were determined to capture (Y/N) and his companions. However, things didn't go to plan as Mihawk had met Shanks who he was confronting and Hancock met (Y/N), the strangest man she had ever met in her life.

(Y/N): "I'm going to confess something to you. Unlike you, I'm not someone who judges people by appearances. I can't hate someone who's never done me any harm but I'd rather be his friend than his enemy because it's more fun to laugh together and share a meal."

Hancock: "Stop talking nonsense!" She struck (Y/N) with a powerful heel strike, but he blocked the blow with his katana.

(Y/N): "It's a bit strange, but I'm able to read people's hearts and understand their true nature."

Hancock: "Read people's hearts and understand their true nature? "She felt a little intrigued by (Y/N)'s words.

(Y/N): "I can sense people's animosity towards me. As for you, I feel hatred towards me, but I don't think it is very deep. Your heart isn't dark, so I don't think you're a bad person. No reason to fight, I'd rather we be friends."

Hancock: "Do you think I'm a good person?"

(Y/N): "It's hard to say. You've got a long way to go to be a better person, but you're not a bad person. You know, a person's beauty comes mostly from their heart, but yours isn't bad so I think you're still a pretty woman."

Hancock: "A pretty woman?"

Cupid's arrow struck Hancock's heart and he was shocked by (Y/N)'s words. She put her hands on her face, which had turned red and her heart was beating fast. Her eyes stared at (Y/N)'s enchanting smile and turned into hearts. Hancock had never heard such a sincere declaration from a man, and the result was inevitable. The most beautiful woman in the world had fallen in love at first sight with (Y/N), who seemed confused by Hancock's reaction.

(Y/N): "Hancock?"

Hancock: "He thought I'm pretty... It's a declaration of love, but it's too sudden, I don't know what to say..." Hancock's heart was in a duel about interpreting (Y/N)'s words as she seemed to avoid his gaze.
