Chapter 53: Big Mom Pirates

The Queen's proud protectors, never lost a battle so easily. Nevertheless, Gudea, the guardian sent by Ishtar to pursue Endehua, had suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of (Y/N). He was in the rubble of a house after his fight, suffering and terrified by the pirate's power.

One thing was clear in his mind: he had no chance of defeating this frightening monster. He used his Transponder Snail to contact his allies who were close to the island, waiting for his signal to intervene if necessary.

Gudea: "Big Mom Pirates, can you hear me? I've met an unexpected opponent... Kaze D. (Y/N) nicknamed Wild Wind is on this island, and he's probably accompanied by his crew, so I need your help to defeat them."

???: "Wild Wind Pirates are on the island? Mama needs their captain. Very well, we'll get ready to move in the next few minutes to capture them."

Behind the call was one of the commanders of Big Mom's crew. The Uruk Kingdom and Big Mom had sealed a secret alliance thanks to the promise of a marriage between Queen Ishtar and one of the members of the Charlotte family. Not many people knew about the forthcoming wedding, but the two groups had already started working together.

The call was interrupted by Gudea, who showed a confident smile on his face. Despite his defeat against (Y/N), the final victory of the battle would be his. His eyes slowly closed as he fell unconscious, dreaming of returning to Uruk as a hero to the people.

Gudea: "You've lost Wild Wind..."

Meanwhile, the discussion between (Y/N) and Ulti continued as Page One managed to easily defeat the Marine soldiers who were no longer a threat to him. Of course, (Y/N) understood the importance of brotherhood and offered Ulti the chance to join his crew with her brother, whom she could never abandon because she was his big sister.

Despite (Y/N)'s offer, Ulti had already decided. She hated him too much to join his crew and preferred to remain loyal to Kaido. Unfortunately for Ulti, she had met a very stubborn person who refused to accept her answer. (Y/N) was going to insist until the two pirates joined his crew.

(Y/N): "I'll never give up recruiting someone I want on my crew at all costs! I want you to travel the seas with me, we'll laugh together!"

Ulti: "You..." She was suddenly interrupted by pirates landing on the roof of the building where he was chatting.

Neither (Y/N) nor Ulti recognised them as they knew little about other crew members, but these two pirates belonged to one of the most powerful groups in the world: Big Mom Pirates. One was a thin man with a pumpkin head, the 28th son of Big Mom's family, Charlotte Kato. The other was a woman with long arms, the 25th daughter, Charlotte Myukuru.

Kato: "Gudea was right. Wild Wind is on this island, he looks pretty weak for a pirate with such a big bounty."

Myukuru: "He's very cute, he's just my type."

Kato: "I also recognise that woman with him. That's Ulti, one of Kaido's Tobirropo. Why is she with Wild Wind?"

Myukuru: "She probably came to capture him, Kaido must be interested in Wild Wind too. If she wants to try and steal my prey, then she's an enemy to be eliminated."

(Y/N): "Uh... Sorry to interrupt, but who are you?"

Kato: "You'll soon find out. We're members of the crew of Empress Big Mom, the greatest pirate of the seas!"

Ulti: "Big Mom? You mean that fat woman who's only interested in eating sweets? She's nothing compared to Kaido!"

(Y/N): "Don't be silly. Big Mom or Kaido, they're both insignificant compared to me. I will be the greatest pirate the world has ever known!"
