Home...What a funny thing to say. We've not even been here a week. This place isn't my home, nor will it ever replace my home.

"Sakura? Everything alright?" I heard Kakashi ask, and the elevator doors opened.

"Yeah, just thinking about everyone," I said, blinking the tears that had formed in my eyes away.

He didn't say anything until we had made it to our rooms. We said goodnight, and I unlocked my room, stepping inside the dimly lit space. I wonder what everyone else is doing right now...Is Naruto still working to become Hokage? Did Sasuke return to the village? Maybe Ino finally took over her parent's flowershop. I wonder if I'll ever see them again or if perhaps I'll be stuck here for the rest of my life.

I sighed, nothing good will come from thinking about this. So, to distract myself, I got onto my new phone. Phones have a fantastic feature where you can look up anything; I can't even imagine how my frie-. It's really amazing. I spent the next few hours googling random things, trying to learn more about this world until my eyes couldn't stay open any longer, and I fell asleep. The next morning, I got a text from Aizawa.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aizawa: Congrats, you "passed" the exam. The class starts Monday at 7 in room 1A, don't be late.

Sakura: 👍

I closed my phone and got up; it was a Saturday. I suppose there was nothing to do but wait around for two days as I already had my uniform so I didn't even need to get that. I got up and threw on black shorts, a red tank, and shoes before combing my hair quickly. I was getting ready to text Kakashi when I heard a knock at my door.

When I opened the door, I was a little surprised to see the familiar group of third-years alongside Kakashi standing outside my door.

"Morning Haruno!! Aizawa sent us to take you two on a little adventure and do some shopping since you're new to the area! And sorry for the late notice, but I figured you weren't up to much anyway," said Nejire

"Hado, that's a little rude to assume. Sorry, she means we thought you wouldn't be busy since you were new." Said Togata

"It's no problem. You've already picked up Kakashi, so I'm down to go." I said nonchalantly, and I grabbed my phone, credit card, and room key, stuffing them in my shorts pocket before heading out.

As we followed the group through the city streets, I observed their dynamic. Togata, obviously the leader, was social and outgoing. He seemed level-headed, although a bit naive, but likable nonetheless. Nejire was bubbly but blunt and very chatty, and she was also very kind and friendly. Then there was Amajiki. He was extremely shy and antisocial but seemed to lighten up around his friends. His lack of confidence was evident from the way he walked and the way he talked, but I could tell he had a good heart.

Eventually, we ended up in front of what may be the biggest single building I've ever seen in my life. I guess my expression gave away my surprise as Nejire laughed.

"Haha, wow, you guys must have come from a really small town to have that look on your faces. I mean, it's like you've never seen a mall before!" She said, strolling through the automatic doors as though she'd been here a hundred times.

"This is...Massive..." I said, still in awe of the place around me. I looked over to Kakashis, and I could tell he felt the same, but his expressionless facade remained unchanged.

"Alright, how about we split up for a while? That way we have plenty of time to visit all the stores? The two girls can go together, and then us boys will go off as well!" He said, and upon no objections, Nejire grabbed my hand and dragged me away despite my best efforts to get her off.
