"I opened the door to see none other than Kakashi, "Oh, hey Kashi everything ok?

"Yeah, I just wanted to see how you were doing. Do you mind if I come in?" He asked, and I obliged. As he walked in, I couldn't help but notice that something seemed a little off. Maybe it was the unusually polite tone he spoke in, or the uncertainty in his voice that I'd learned over the years meant something was amiss, but it was definitely something. Electing to ignore it for now, I plopped down on my bed, sprawling out all my limbs, Kakashi taking a seat in the adjacent desk chair.

"So I take it you found everything you needed with Hado today?" He asked, and I thought perhaps I had miscalculated. Considering the mood he walked in with I thought perhaps he had wanted to talk about something more serious, but maybe not.

"Everything and more, Hado's a bit of an...overachiever when it comes to shopping. I swear we must have visited every store in the mall!" I laughed, only somewhat kidding.

"That's nice; Amajiki and Togata were fine. We went into a few stores, and I found the basics. I did note that there wasn't any kind of weapon supply store, so use the rest of your Kunai sparingly." He said, and I nodded.

"Well, outside of weapons, it's good we found everything else. These credit cards are fun to pay with, but honestly, it just feels like I'm stealing."

"Mhm, I get what you mean. So, back to Hado and them, what do you think about them?"

"...They're nice, naïve definitely, but nice. In truth, they somewhat remind me of our friends back home..." I said, reminiscing.

The similarities between my old friends and them were easily seen no matter how much I tried not to. It was as though God was toying with me. First, throwing me into a new world and then throwing hauntingly similar people into the mix it's almost comical.

"Mm, I suppose there are some similarities. The blonde one certainly reminds me a lot of Naruto." He agreed.

Silence settled in the room at Naruto's name. Kakashi's demeanor seemed to morph back into what it had been when I opened the door. That's when I figured it was time to cut to the chase, he clearly wasn't just here for the small talk.

"Kakashi, what did you want to talk about?"

"Sakura, I did some experimenting with my chakra last night after the exam and it didn't go great. While I could still access my pocket dimension, I couldn't summon my dogs. Which means we're completely cut off from our world. Considering this, it wouldn't be hard to suggest that we truly are stuck in another universe, and without a Rinnaghan there's no way back. I also wouldn't be counting on someone coming to save us. So.." He said grimly, and I sat up on the bed. Obviously, I had thought of the possibility, but hearing Kakashi say it. It was a whole other level of hurt I was not prepared for.

"So what. Forget going home? Settle into our new roles here and play hero? Do we give up?" My questions came off aggressive, more so than intended yet I didn't plan to back down. He was talking as though we should give up and that alone pissed me off immensely.

"I just want you to understand the situation Sakura." He defended, leaning forward in his seat.

"Oh what you really mean is that I should let go of the idea that I'll see them again, right? Right, Kakashi?" I'd spent enough time around him to know what he was getting at.

"Saku-" He tried but was swiftly cut off.

"No. How could you even suggest that? Giving up on that would mean giving up on my friends, our friends?!" I said, cutting him off, my voice rising alongside my blood pressure. My fists clenched the sheets below me.
