After knowing who her suspects were Mae thought it would be pointless to go to school and better to observe from afar

After seeing them fail for a while Maeve spots naruto and goes down to him

After that they all go back to the post and almost catch the person who controls the shadows but she or he manages to slip away in the sewers where another surprise awaited her
"Hello sumire " a voice says behind her making her turn around

Just as Maeve finishes talking she goes to her fast trying to kill her
But Maeve being one of the fastest person on planet fights back
After two minutes of fighting she throws a smoke bomb and it gets on Maeves eyes blinding her for a second
So sumire goes to attack her again this time hitting her in her side and
When Maeve goes to hit her she has disappeared
"Doesn't matter , now that I know who you are , it's over for you " Maeve says knowing she is listening in on her
Maeve gets out of the sewers and goes to the hokage telling him everything and just then a giant monster is summoned near the village
"You go rest , I'll deal with this " naruto says when he sees her holding her side with her hands
"Are you sure , cuz I can help " Maeve says but naruto still refuses
In the morning all the fighting is over and sumire is taken I'm by the hokage while boruto and the others go back to school
